“This is the coolest arcade my son and I have been to! We came up from Birmingham for my son to go to an appointment. After the appointment, I surprised him by bringing him here. We were the only ones there, since it was early on a weekday, so he got to enjoy all the games. The lady working the bar was unbelievably sweet. My son was so excited about all of the PacMan games. Thank you for making my son's first retro gaming experience the best!“

“Visited for dinner me and the wife. I had a 10pc wing and fries Honey Garlic. My wife had the 5 PC Lemon Pepper with fries. Wings were crispy and favorable. The service was great. Didn't have to wait all day. Just sat back ate good and listened to grown folks music. I give it a 9 of 10 only because they don't do Celery. But I highly recommend“

“Amazing speakeasy experience. The drinks were absolutely phenomenal and the bartender was fantastic. Her suggestion of everything works with everything was very true. They do things a little differently than other places so make sure to give it a go! Make a reservation online and enjoy the ride!“

“It was fine. Not overly attentive or chatty service (would have been nice to get some color commentary on the cocktail menu but got vague responses of “it’s good”) but I liked the drink I got. Awkward seating options inside with a banquet under a large tv so you could easily look at it.“

“This place will always have a special place in my heart. My friends and I found it on Jan 6 (yeah, that one) while scouting for apartments for our friend Dave who was moving from Iowa to Huntsville. An experience in an experience and then that experience got drunk. Great time. Over the years, I went down to visit several times and was always welcomed while Dave was a frequent visitor. We were always greeted warmly and it seems Dave and the owner developed a sincere friendship over their chats. I doubt I ever get back down to Huntsville now that Dave is gone but you never know. And if I do, I’ll be sure to stop by and say hello to Shelly. 💚“

“Lone Goose is my favorite bar! My friends and I call it our "safe bar" because the environment really does just feel very safe, not too wild, and has a decent crowd.
We love that there is outdoor seating in addition to the inside space, you can play music over the speakers like in most bars, and karaoke is hosted every Wednesday!
There's also a pool table, very friendly bartenders, and surprisingly affordable drinks. Something else that's a plus, in my personal opinion, is that it doesn't smell like smoke in there! Smoking is only allowed outside.
I love this place, and I'd always suggest it to anyone!“

“Absolutely love Fat Tuesdays. The only complaint about the Fat Tuesday's in Huntsville is it was lacking on flavors. I've been to other Fat Tuesday's and they all seemed to have more options/flavors. But will definitely be returning when visiting Huntsville.“

“Possibly the best small bar in Huntsville for a number of good reasons. If it an upcoming musician looking to break into the live music part of ur career this is the perfect place to start. Come by Thursday nights for open mic night. The staff will make u feel well invited with their bomb personalities, the other musicians (extremely talented) are humble and down to earth, and the crowd is just a group of good people looking to hear some good music at a good bar so u have nothing to be nervous about. I'd give it a 20/10 in a heartbeat 👊🖐️“

“Hidden gem! Chicken was amazing and I loved the cheese curds as well. Didn’t love the fries. Didn’t love the marinara that comes with cheese curds. The ranch and honey mustard were great. My fiancé loved his mild buffalo wings. We can go watch the game and it was a great experience and we ordered some drinks. I will say the food is expensive so I split a meal with my friend. But it was a huge portion and plenty for both of us and the chicken was so fresh. This place is located in the back of the alley to the left of Sammy T’s.“

“Never disappoints! I have been going here for years. Last time in I ordered the red beans and rice. The smoked sausage had a little too much smoke for my liking but still an 8 out of 10. My daughter had the fried shrimp. It’s by far the best fried shrimp I’ve ever had in Huntsville or the surrounding area. Every side dish is always on point. I highly recommend this place! The food is only second to the service we always receive here! 5 stars!“

“Huntsville has some great hidden gems and one of those is Hildegard's German Cuisine downtown. This little hole in the wall will blow you away with their rich & authentic flavors made fresh. You can literally hear them pounding out the Schnitzel as you enjoy the orange rolls (you need these in your life). The Sampler was perfect to take a tour of what Hildegard’s does best: Chicken Schnitzel, Polish Sausage and Kraut, and Geschnetzeltes (Hunters Stroganoff). Each one was done perfectly and made you wonder how much you could keep eating. Warm potato salad on the side and I was in heaven. For restaurant week they had the smoked pork chop and WOW was it good. A rich deep smoked flavor that made the fat taste like bacon but left the inside of the chop perfect. Käsespätzle (German Mac-n-cheese) on the side was a perfect way to enjoy an old style dish. The only minor complaint is that their German Chocolate cake just has whipped chocolate icing - no pecan & coconut icing like the real thing.“

“Came here after having been gone for about 20 years. The outside looks the same and we immediately recognized it in the little mini mall.
They still have steel tip darts in the left corner and the same U-shaped bar on the right, but it was dingier than we remembered.
Still, for 5 people, 3 draft beers and 2 strong liquor drinks, $38 wasn't bad.
Olivia was friendly and fast with service. We played a dart game with the 2 house darts they had, and then went on to our next memory.“
