“First time trying this place and I will be returning.. food was absolutely great..I had the rib and the meat was falling off the bone.. she had the philly wrap and it was also delicious.. Allan was our waiter and he was attentive, informative, and nice..“
“We walked in last night with a party of 11. We were going to put some tables together, but they suggested that we could sit at two other tables, and that worked out great. We ordered some drinks. The beer was cold. We got some appetizers which came right away and then they brought the food. My pulled pork sandwich was very good and the onion rings were hot and crispy. The waitresses were very attentive and kept our drinks filled.Plenty of TVs to watch sports programs. Bathrooms were clean. Can’t wait to go back.“
“My husband and I went on a Friday night. We were buzzed in promptly & our instructions were easy to understand. The bartenders were EVERYTHING! They knew exactly what to pair together to make the perfect drink. They were both very friendly, service was prompt (they came around about every 15-20 minutes) & the drinks were phenomenal. My favorite line of the night "we don't serve our tequila with salt & lime because we have GOOD tequila" 10 stars! Will definitely be back.“
“Hubby decided to eat here for our first out to eat meal in over a week. Service, food was great. very warm and cozy on a very cold day. Nice ambiance for a Romantic dinner. more reasonable prices than what used to be here. quick service. picky hubby will return.“
“The second 10/10 I’ve ever given and it was rightfully deserved. I came here to celebrate my birthday and was meet with the greatest experience I could’ve asked for. The gumbo is the most flavorful I’ve ever had and the Filet mignon w/truffle fries was better than I could have imagined. The service was perfection as my drinks were refilled before I could even think about taking another sip. The food was delivered in such a good pace that I was delighted to feel as if I was eating the whole menu! Truly a blessing to have been given such amazing food and that I could eat it.“
“From start to finish this was one of the best dinners I have had in a long time. My wife and I enjoyed a beautiful table on the patio. Amanda our server was on point with her recommendations and was a pleasure to talk to. Everything tasted so good and was the perfect portion. Will definitely be back!“
“Excellent Selection of beverages from across the world. Also brews on tap and liquor from bar. Bartenders are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We make it a point to stop bye every time we're in Huntsville. Our favorite rest stop in town! A nice, relaxed place for a sip and conversation.“
“I love T-town jack browns…but this is on a different level.I’ve never seen one guy make a whole restaurant a vibe but Daniel is off the hook. Whatever this man wants, give it to him. He is the heart of jack brown’s Huntsville. 10/10. Could not recommend enough.“
“First time here st Pappo's Pizzeria in Huntsville. Truly inviting atmosphere. Extensive variety of beer, traditional on tap, speciality and local breweries selections. I am recommending the Oyster City Hooter Brown as my choice. The menu is varied, high quality, and will appeal to anyone. Pappos's Pizzeria is now on my list of places to frequent when in Huntsville.“
“Delicious food. Cold beer. Great prices. I crave their food and have to get takeout sometimes. I cannot go on enough about how good the food is! This is real deli sandwiches hot or cold as well as many other options. I would definitely suggest the turkey Reuben. The service is fantastic. They have awesome sizes of beer and great prices! This is not a craft beer place. Do not expect to have a large selection of craft beer on draft. I come here for lunch on Saturdays mostly. But I do occasionally find myself there late night, and it is still one of my favorite bars in Huntsville. There is obviously smoking inside, and that’s the biggest downfall for me. If you don’t want to be around cigarette smoke, you are fine going during the day for lunch. It is more smoky if you go later at night.“
“Huntsville has some great hidden gems and one of those is Hildegard's German Cuisine downtown. This little hole in the wall will blow you away with their rich & authentic flavors made fresh. You can literally hear them pounding out the Schnitzel as you enjoy the orange rolls (you need these in your life). The Sampler was perfect to take a tour of what Hildegard’s does best: Chicken Schnitzel, Polish Sausage and Kraut, and Geschnetzeltes (Hunters Stroganoff). Each one was done perfectly and made you wonder how much you could keep eating. Warm potato salad on the side and I was in heaven. For restaurant week they had the smoked pork chop and WOW was it good. A rich deep smoked flavor that made the fat taste like bacon but left the inside of the chop perfect. Käsespätzle (German Mac-n-cheese) on the side was a perfect way to enjoy an old style dish. The only minor complaint is that their German Chocolate cake just has whipped chocolate icing - no pecan & coconut icing like the real thing.“
“First time at this establishment, food was very good, drinks were good and service was outstanding! Bartender stays on top of her guests. Music was good and the tvs had sports and music videos on as well. Played darts on Saturday night and had a blast. Two requests to owner or mgmt ….. blender would be nice for frozen drinks and add pretzel bites with jalapeño cheese to menu. Thanks for a great Saturday night we will definitely be back“
“Always some interesting cocktails on the menu when I go, but you can't pretend the rooftop view is really worth much. I always end up wishing the coworkers chose a different bar at the end of the day.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible via elevator only for wheelchairs.“
“Seating was quick, server was friendly. Drinks and food was prepared and brought in the time expected, salad and pizza were excellent, prices are inline with other pizza places. Atmosphere was good, building and tables clean, restrooms clean. Parking was satisfactory. Good place to “
“First timer! Came in for brunch during happy hour on a Saturday. Mimosas started at $1 and went to $3. I ordered of the brunch menu. I chose the Southwest Burrito- no substitutions; it was amazing. The location not easy to spot, but easily accessible. There is a parking garage directly behind the building. Once you've been you'll be wondering how you haven't been already ?“
“My family and I went to the Huntsville Alabama’s location for lunch today. We had the best waitress we have had at any restaurant in a long time. Her name was Stefinie. She was beyond amazing. Not only was she friendly and funny she went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We would like to say thank you to her and recommend that any and everyone go and ask to be seated with her because you won’t regret it.“
“Hadn't been to Drakes before so decided to try it out around noon on a Saturday with my wife and two kids. Despite being pretty busy we were seated without a wait. Waitress was nice and took orders, drinks arrived pretty quickly. Ambiance was kind of a brighter sports bar but still family-friendly. Loud music and conversation but not obnoxiously so, lot of families present. On to the food. Let's be honest - the place is a little on the expensive side. Cup of chili for $6, salads start at $14 and go north of $18, all the burgers are $14+ with one side etc. That being said, I don't knock of stars for higher prices, you can check the menu before you show up and go elsewhere, but I do want to point it out.I ordered the Triple Double cheeseburger Sliders and was able to sub out the side for chili for $2, which I felt was a good deal. The burgers were well done but sliders are kinda to get anything else and they tasted good. To be fair, they didn't ask how I wanted them so that's just how they come. No complaints about the burgers besides the size. Chili seemed like it was made fresh and tasted really good. Scattering of beans, hamburger was diced very fine. Great flavor, not too hot or top greasy.Wife got the chopped Chicken Salad but opted to swap out chicken for salmon. She thought there was a bit too much dressing (order it on the side). She fel the salmon was cooked a little more then she asked for but was still good -- a good entree sized serving of salmon. Everything else in salad was great.Kids got mac-n-cheese and chicken strips. The chicken strips were grilled and they were probably the best kids chicken s trips I've tried. My daughter thought they were one of the better ones she'd tried as well. Mac-N-Cheese was good.$65 prior to gratuity for all that, two waters, 1 soda and a 23oz beer. Kinda high but they offered a military discount that was very generous. Came out to just over $51 after discount which I appreciated a lot.As long as you are OK paying for quality good, you won't be disappointed -- food here is great and service is good too.“
“This was our first trip to Tortora's. Every thing we ordered was absolutely delicious! Our waitress, Carla, went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant dining experience. We had fettuccine alfredo, tortellini carbonara, and the Tuscan chicken pizza. We will definitely be back!“
