“My husband and I went on a Friday night. We were buzzed in promptly & our instructions were easy to understand. The bartenders were EVERYTHING! They knew exactly what to pair together to make the perfect drink. They were both very friendly, service was prompt (they came around about every 15-20 minutes) & the drinks were phenomenal. My favorite line of the night "we don't serve our tequila with salt & lime because we have GOOD tequila" 10 stars! Will definitely be back.“
“Celebration dinner. We had rack of lamb, pork shank, bacon cheese burger, tuna tacos,Wagu ( ? or Kobe?) tacos and seared tuna. Everything was so good. The tacos were amazing (and tiny) and the pork shank stole the show. Spendy but worth it.“

“The second 10/10 I’ve ever given and it was rightfully deserved. I came here to celebrate my birthday and was meet with the greatest experience I could’ve asked for. The gumbo is the most flavorful I’ve ever had and the Filet mignon w/truffle fries was better than I could have imagined. “My 9 year old desperately wanted to have his birthday at P&P. They were so nice and welcoming! The kids had a blast, the drinks were awesome and there was plenty for everyone to play - kids and adults alike. We were able to bring cake and snacks and there was plenty of room for our whole party (of 25ish people) to have cake and open gifts. A full bar is available, but lunch is too early to start pounding them down, so I had a Pabst Blue Ribbon in a bottle no less! It was super cold and tasty. The physical location has been updated and is warm and inviting. Smoking, well yes there is smoking allowed, but I can attest that you cannot notice it. As a prior smoker, I am extra sensitive to this issue. As far as I am concerned it is not an issue. Of course, there was only me and three (3) others who were smoking. There also appears to be two (2) picnic tables outside on the front porch. It aint the Ritz but it is a much better atmosphere than the National chains. You don’t have to agree but that’s my opinion. “Huntsville has some great hidden gems and one of those is Hildegard's German Cuisine downtown. This little hole in the wall will blow you away with their rich & authentic flavors made fresh. You can literally hear them pounding out the Schnitzel as you enjoy the orange rolls (you need these in your life). The Sampler was perfect to take a tour of what Hildegard’s does best: Chicken Schnitzel, Polish Sausage and Kraut, and Geschnetzeltes (Hunters Stroganoff). Each one was done perfectly and made you wonder how much you could keep eating. Warm potato salad on the side and I was in heaven. For restaurant week they had the smoked pork chop and WOW was it good. A rich deep smoked flavor that made the fat taste like bacon but left the inside of the chop perfect. Käsespätzle (German Mac-n-cheese) on the side was a perfect way to enjoy an old style dish. The only minor complaint is that their German Chocolate cake just has whipped chocolate icing - no pecan & coconut icing like the real thing.“

Because it is located within Stovehouse which has multiple locations to eat and drink and you can bring your drinks to any of their locations within the fence. “A friend and I were traveling through Huntsville. If you're staying at the La Quinta Inn and want to get blackout drunk without driving... We had a great night. I was eager to get out, and saw Ruggby's was just on the other side of the hotel. We went over there, and they have one of those horseshoe-style bars. There was some dude who just got fired from his job from a restaurant down the street. A few of his former coworkers were there and were scolding him about how bad his unnamed behavior was. My friend bought the fired dude's drinks. The bartender told us some new beer that he wasn't familiar with just got on tap. We had that, then forgot the rest of the night. Five stars. Oh, I forgot to mention that my friend couldn't find his wedding ring the next day.“
“My family and I went to the Huntsville Alabama’s location for lunch today. We had the best waitress we have had at any restaurant in a long time. Her name was Stefinie. She was beyond amazing. Not only was she friendly and funny she went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. “This was my first time at the restaurant in a long time. The area was bigger than what I remembered or they added to the business. The bar area where we were could have used a few more servers. The drinks were actually really good. My second drink seemed smaller than mu first but I did not complain. I ordered some sweet potato fries. They were good but needed to be cooked just a little longer. This is one of those items that is hard to get just right sometimes. Overall I enjoyed everything. I will be back....maybe when it is just a little warmer.“
