I had the taco trio- steak, chicken and carnitas, my husband got the tamales, soup and street corn, I had the hibiscus water, my husband had the mango…then for dessert we had the ice cream popsicles; he had pistachio and I had strawberries n cream and I tried a little bit of everything on the salsa bar and it was all delicious. All I can say is WOW. It is better than we imagined. I hardly ever leave reviews, but Juanita definitely deserved a shoutout! Everyone was so kind. When we pass back through Leeds, Alabama next time, we will definitely be back.“

“We stopped in for lunch,while visiting Trussville, Alabama. The establishment was clean and quite tidy even with the high volume of customers. We did enjoyed a delicious meal. My hubby ordered the Fat boy burrito and I two tacos(cheezy beef and redneck) both are served with chips and salsa. We each enjoyed a refreshingly tasty margarita, a perfect compliment to the meal. The staff was friendly, polite, and attentive to customers. We much appreciated the delicious and relaxing lunch, after our travels.“

“This is probably my absolute favorite restaurant in all of Alabama. Not even remotely joking. It has the best waiters i have ever had the pleasure of meeting...They always get the correct order to you and fast. Everyone works as a team and they will bend over backwards for you to have a great experience. The birthday experience is top notch and a ton of fun. As the birthday boy or girl you get to wear a huge sombrero while you get to eat some fried ice-cream. I highly, highly, highly recommend El Patrons in Trussville.“

“The El Cazador family is very special. Kathi introduced me many years ago. You can see the caring and love in every dish. You walk in and are greeted with a smile. The food is always delicious. They also cater which Kathi has used many times. Leeds as well as the other restaurant locations are blessed to have them.“

“Very rarely do I eat my full meal at a restaurant but tonight it was great ! I got the cheesesteak burrito with rice , my husband got the boneless wings (mango habanero) and my son got the pizza bites with fries . My burrito was so good ! I will say it could’ve used cheese inside the burrito but there was so much on the top it made up for it . My husband loved the wings and my son loved the fries. Good portions , enough where nothing goes to waste . I think Mexican food should be eaten hot and fresh .“

“jaylen is the BEST worker i have EVER MET! the store was clean, and everything came out wonderful and on time. i’ve been to many taco bell’s and this by far had the best atmosphere, best workers, and the cleanest store. bathrooms were wonderful as well.“

“So I went in at night time last week, and got a bowl per usual. The steak portion I got was barely any and it was served to me while the pan was outside of the dogwell, so I had to ask homegirl if the steak was cold, but it wasn't. I just didn't get much in my bowl, and I got hella beans and lettuce. Today, I go in and order - right - and I asked for queso and sour cream, and green salsa. The guy literally gave me all water - no tomatillos. So I asked him to make it over and it was almost foreign to them. I get the bowl is going to be messy, but if they wouldn't spoon all that rice in the bottom, then there would be room. I had to instruct homeboy to strain my beans, and tell him to pick up the salsa from the bottom of the pan with the ladle so I don't get just juices.
I'm sorry to have such bad anxiety, I just know I won't eat something I watched someone make wrong or carelessly nor can I afford a $20 mess. It's good tho. Thankfully the hardest part is left to chefs at Chipotle“
