“About 4 years ago, before I moved out of state, we stopped in on a whim and it was the BEST bar experience ever. When we left I told my husband, if I ever go back to Alabama I'm coming back to visit!! He made me feel like family.Welp, I'm back in Alabama and I'm looking to head down ASAP. Hopefully he is still open!”

“First visit here and the food was good. It was a bit confusing upon entering as to whether you sit down or order at the counter, but the owner’s daughter was very sweet and helpful. The decor is a bit lacking and outdated. There were some noisy/misbehaving children that made the atmosphere a bit unpleasant, but that is not the owners fault. We were hoping for more Greek food as we were told it was Greek. Although they have a couple of gyro options, they do not cook the gyro meat in house on a vertical rotisserie. I ordered their house pizza and my husband ordered lasagna. Both were very good.”

“It's a decent, typical Small Town Diner. It took a little bit to get service, it wasn't exactly spotless clean, and the food was nothing exceptional. If you like foods cooked in fat, this is your place. They have decent eggs but it was a bit greasy for my taste. They also serve vegetables for lunch and dinner. We were there for breakfast. It was acceptable food for traveling, and it's convenient to I-20. We were passing through on one of our many trips does small town America. A lot of people will find this type of place great. It was just a little greasy for two health conscious people. But again, if you're looking for country cooking and you don't mind a little extra grease, you'll love it. People were really nice. An elderly man, who appeared to be a regular, couldn't find his wallet, and they went out of their way to help him. Good people.”

“Ordered the half smoked chicken, I am telling you what it was great! Fell right off the bone wasn’t dry. The owner is always welcoming, she always talks to the customers. You can tell she cares about the food produced by her business. Thank you for the awesome food. 5/5 ⭐️”

“I have had the pleasure of eating @StateLine BBQ at least 5 times over the years. Everything from the ribs, cheesesteak, wings (big & juicy), and sides are very tasty. Its a family run restaurant and y’all should give it a shot as I highly recommend it and disagree with the negative comments. Last time i ate there will be tomorrow 2/16/25.”

“The salad bar is our favorite but we have eaten there several times over the years. It never disappoints. The only thing negative I would say about it, they’re not open enough. Makes the wait worth it when she is though.”

“We’ve lived close to the Backwoods Steakhouse for years and have heard wonderful reviews, so we made a visit. It surpassed our expectations!! We loved the view from the rear seating and saw Goats, Emu’s, and Highlands enjoying their day against a beautiful farm backdrop. The service and food were TOP NOTCH!
I’m not even exaggerating to say it was the best steak I’ve ever eaten.
We’ve already made a second visit and it was equally impressive. It’s a new favorite date night locale for us. Highly recommended.”

“Passing through and stopped for a quick bite. The staff was friendly and took my order then prepared my food quickly. Everything was fresh and the food was delicious. This location was clean and well stocked. Would recommend when passing through this area.”

“This was my first time ever in this particular restaurant. I scoped out the reviews prior to stopping here and was highly recommended by the security guard at Honda plant whenever I delivered a load there. This is a restaurant that I will make a staple in my route whenever coming through the area. Not only was the food good, the staff was exceptionally friendly, kind, polite, and curtious. After being recommended to me, I highly recommend stopping in and grabbing a bite to eat. Grilled chicken was on night one, and Bacon Cheeseburger was on night two.”

“Other than the cashier not knowing how to ring up burgers and not meals and them being out of chicken filets for sandwiches (subbed fingers) it was good. Change of daily plans and needed to grab kiddos some food so for the quick in and out it was good.”

“I usually come here expecting the worst, considering I get off late and I’m use to bad service and bad food. Tonight was different 05/22/24 1:54 am. The food was perfect service was not overdone or rushed. Quick and clean service from the cashier he was a male name started with a J, had glasses.
The cook with the beanie actually knew what he was doing and got everyone’s food out quick, and honestly I was expecting the food to be shabby and put together fast but this is perfect and as advertised. Give these two raises or something cause they are doing wonders for y’all. Extremely happy to see a nightshift fast food restaurant with some legit workers and not some tweaker tacos.”
