“Nicely made food. Chicken tetrazzini is the only thing I order from here but it makes me willing to try others. Every worker is nice over the phone and in-person despite how young they are. My only complaint is that their hours on google are misleading. Originally thought they were always closed on weekends but found out they are only closed fully on Sundays. On Saturdays, they are open from 10-2. Hope they fix the problem in the future.“

“We were at the game this past weekend and we had the BEST experience at Jackie’s. We parked a little far away for my elderly father to be able to walk all the way and stopped to get some drinks and find a taxi or shuttle service. Everyone was so nice to us and helped us find a ride the rest of the way to the stadium. They were so helpful and kind and you can tell they truly love what they’re doing and love to see folks walking by. They’re a joy to be around and we’ll definitely plan to stop in the next time we’re in town! Thank you! 🖤❤️🤍“

“Was working in Tuscaloosa and a restaurant with a two hour wait recommended the River. We had the steak filet and the seared tuna. Both dishes were absolutely amazing. The service was outstanding and the whole experience was just classy and comfortable. Brussel sprouts were on special for an appetizer, they were the best we’ve ever had. “Fun bar with lots of character...and full of local characters! A “dive bar” in the best possible way. Energetic atmosphere, good music and great drink specials. Bartenders are friendly and fast and attentive. Pool table, garage doors...small, but plenty of room for fun with your friends! A regular stop for us when we are in town!“
