“We were driving through town around dinner and stumbled across Zazu via yelp reviews and decided to give it a try. Best.decision.ever. Our server Tony was polite and professional. He provided awesome service. We started out with the poutine which was rich and flavorful. For entrees I had the smash burger and my son had the pimento cheese burger. We couldn’t decide which we liked better but we both agreed these were easily some of the best burgers we’ve ever had. Thank you Zazu for an amazing meal!”

“A classic in Lee County. If you are in the area this is one of those mandatory spots. I remember going here as a kid. It still tastes the same. These are some of the best hotdogs and ice cream in the south east. This an old school walk up, no seating except outdoor tables.”

“Great food, the rolls are to die for, a cross between a donut and a dinner roll. I had the Shepherd's pie and it was good and came as a large portion enough for two. I also got the fries as an appetizer and these were thick cut fries that were crispy plus, not burned or hard just very crispy almost like a chip with a soft center, really excellent. The service was friendly, albeit a bit slow. We waited almost 15 minutes before a server came by for our drink order, but as we had not been in a hurry it did not matter at the time. The restaurant has a nice neighborhood pub feel to with sports on all the televisions.”

“We went to Durango for lunch today, 1 o’clock on a Sunday, and the food was sooo good. The strawberry daiquiri was great, the steak fajitas were marinated and came with a lime wedge which I thought was a nice addition. We usually go to the place across from Sam’s but their steak is sliced so thin and not flavorful at all, so this was such a pleasant surprise. The chips were warm and not paper thin which we loved. My husband’s plate was clean at the end and he said the pico de gallo on top of his burrito verde was really good, and he usually *hates* tomatoes! So we were both pretty shocked. We only had to wait a few minutes after we were done for the server to come back so we were glad since sometimes that can be super frustrating to wait for when you’re ready to leave. The service was great, everyone was very nice, even the server assistant that offered us more chips when we were low. Plus the music was pleasant and relaxing, not too loud, and it wasn’t freezing cold inside like some places. So overall a great experience and it’s now our go-to spot for Mexican.

Edit- we went again recently around 2:30 on a Saturday and no one else was in there (of course)… but the food was STILL spot on! Consistent, clean, friendly, speedy, delicious! I mean really, what more can you ask for??”

First off, it was near closing time and the two young women working were still perfectly sweet and happy to explain all the delicious flavors(even though you have to know they repeated them 100 times already that day!). The cupcakes were amazing and I appreciated the samples because-in this case-it was hard to guess what a sweet tea cupcake would taste like(SOOO GOOD). I will definitely be back. “I’ve seen this place for a while and never stopped in until yesterday and I am so glad I did! I got a simple iced coffee and it was so smooth. Really good. Low acid. I talked a while with the two employees and they explained about their roasting process and where they source their beans. Very informative and friendly guys. Their prices are much better than the crappy coffee you get at a certain big brand coffee shop.
They sell their beans. They also have single source beans.”

“I've never been to a place as unique as this. Part game room part restaurant. The menu allows you to make your own creations with the items that they carry. I've never heard of using 2 pizzas as buns until here. I did the pizza bun with shredded chicken, rasberry vinaigrette, and shrimp. I also did a burger with 2 grilled cheese sandwiches as buns with lettuce, beef, queso, and shrimp. I also ordered a shredded chicke. Sandwich with lettuce, shredded carrots and queso on a Hawaiian bun. It was amazing.”

“I ordered two subs today through the app, But I had accidentally ordered them to the wrong location (Opelika location instead of Phoenix city). Once I got to the Phoenix city location I quickly realized i had ordered it to the wrong place because they couldn’t find my order, so I called the Opelika location to see if I could cancel my order because of my mistake. I was told by a girl manager at the time that there is no exceptions for canceling order if I had ordered it ordered to a different location. I was super upset knowing that I had just wasted $23 and still had no lunch for me or my partner and didn’t want to spend that money again. so I had placed a case through the app to see if I could get any resolution to my problem. Until Rocco another store manager from the Opelika location called me to find out more about my problem. Rocky was super professional and immediately took action to resolving my issue. He even told me that usually if someone Accidentally orders it to the wrong location the other location will call them to see if the order is there and if it is they would remake it at the location, which was some thing that the other girl manager never mentioned to me even after I sounded upset. Big shoutout to Rocco for delivering great customer service, now I will be gladly returning to eat lunch here when I pass through the area!”

“Better than average standard American Chinese food. The people are pleasant. We have always ordered takeout, and I’m pretty sure they’ve never gotten our order wrong. We’ve probably ordered from No 1 at least 20 times. The food has almost always been ready in 20 minutes or less and has always been hot. My only complaint is that the sesame chicken has only been crispy one time. It still tastes good and is one of our regularly ordered items, but it would be better if they left the chicken in the fryer just a little bit longer. They use a nice short grain rice that I really enjoy, and the kung pao chicken is a proper savory dish, not too sweet. If you’re ok with a little bonus fat in your life, the fried donuts are hard to stop eating.”

“We are from LA and wanted to try a new place on our recent trip to SC. I was a little upset that only drive thru was available but we made it work. We were very pleased with the quality of the food. We had to wait a little longer for our food to be cooked so they gave us a little extra food and went out of their way to make me a salad when they were short on supplies! My hubby is picky about green beans and he said they were really good. The woman was very polite and went above and beyond with our food requests. If we are in the area we would stop by again for sure.”
