Waffle House in Opelika

“My kid just really wanted waffle house.... on a Sat morning.... right after the big Auburn/Alabama game... can you say nightmare? I indulged and agreed to it but after driving around town for more than 30 minutes I was about to give up and try cracker barrel when I made a turn and found this gem. It wasn't packed like all the rest, so we went in. The folks in here were really nice and really attentive and our food tasted great. I was very glad to find them that morning and because it/they were so great I think I'll be going out of ny way to visit again. 5 stars!“

“I always enjoy my visits to Waffle House, regardless of the location I happen to be in. My food was absolutely delicious, as always. My only issue was that the lady who took my order didn't seem to be in the greatest of moods. She took my order, and that was the last I ever saw or heard from her until it was time for me to check out. I ordered one of the egg, hash brown, and sausage balls, along with a black coffee. She never came to check on me and asked me how my meal was or if I needed a refill on my coffee

I hated that I didn't leave her a normal tip that I would usually do for great service; I left her $1. This is not my normal routine, but if you ignore me, I'm going to tip you accordingly“
