“Stopped by Waldo’s today for the first time. Service and food were great! Jose spent his time walking around speaking with all the guest that were dinning in. He gave us a little history behind Waldo’s and the food. He was so personable and friendly! But let’s be real, we need a Jose personality at every business we go to! We will be back next time we are in the Pelham area.“

I don't live anywhere near Birmingham, but when I have to go to Birmingham airport, I make sure I stop here for the chicken and tamales.
The food is ALWAYS hot and seasoned to perfection. The chicken is so juicy and crunchy 😋
The tamales has great flavor and hot.
Oh, don't skip out on the fried fish. Ordered fish for my parents and they fell in love and demanded I get some more the next day. 😆“

While the drive-through is faster than dining in or ordering inside for takeout, you won't be waiting longer than 5 to 10 minutes tops.
If you need anything, they are quick to assist you.

“Tahish i think was his name, im not too sure but he was the extremely kind Indian man who works there and my girlfriend accidentally knocked her salad off of the table and he was on break and saw it happen. we walked up to the register so i could buy her another one and he covered it for us and was just very kind about it. he did that without thinking twice about it and did so with grace. we need more people like him in the world. Thank you again sir!!!“

It was kind of entertaining, there were several people ahead of me in line and the staff called "next person please" and even repeat it several times and customers would just stand there and not move up... There was a period when customers were few and drive thru service was a little slow but for the last few months it has been a real pleasure to go there. The food is ALWAYS great, and the menu options keep growing with variety and taste. The customer focused service workers in the drive thru are wonderful - competent, friendly and very efficient.
