“Well-placed waypoint when I travel between central Florida and northern Alabama. Very quiet place, alway very clean. Low rates! Maintenance has fallen off a bit in recent years, but it's still a good place to stay. Close enough to the city without the troubles that are in the city. It's been a regular stop for me for many years. I'd recommend it to anyone who is regular folks.”

“The Pastry Vault and Catering with it’s decadent desserts is not just to be enjoyed, but to be exspericed. These delicacies with their oowee, gooey, goodness, you have to bring your appetite, because you will leave feeling not just full but oh so satisfied. Each bite contains all of the richness you were hoping to experience at a five star restaurant. We had the banana pudding cinnamon roll. You can just see the cinnamon spread it through and through. And certainly enough to share or even keep for another day. It tastes like the banana pudding the grandma used to make, but with a modern twist because it’s also a cinnamon roll. You can’t go wrong with any of their desserts. Check them out at an event near you. You be glad you did. You’re welcome, because I know you will be thanking me with each bite.”

“My partner and I had tried to have dinner at the waffle house on Boyd-Cooper and we ended up leaving due to attitude, incorect order and atmosphere (to-go cups,plates and utensils).
Thankfully we came here to the pike rd location where everything was completely different. Great customer service, hospitality and the food was excellent. After the first location I wanted to go somewhere else but my partner really wanted waffle house. I'm super glad I let her talk me into trying again.

“My husband and I were visiting from Florida. Being Air Force veterans who were stationed in Saudi Arabia, we are always looking for an authentic schwarma. We had chicken schwarma dinners and the falafel platter. This place is the real deal. Very delicious authentic food- with the taste and smell we were taken back to the Middle East. Falafel was perfect- not dry or crumbly and the hummus was outstanding. Highly recommend!!”

“I’ve gone to La Jolla twice in the past month and had an awesome server, Asher. The food and service have been great both times. On my first visit, the dining room and bar were full, so the host took my number and called me when a table became available. I enjoyed the grilled lamb small plate on that visit. On my second visit, I arrived before 5 pm, so there wasn’t a crowd just yet. I was greeted and seated immediately. I ordered the Cajun salmon and Hoppin John entrée this time. It was delicious.
