“Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them.I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location and I give it five stars.“
“Kenya is amazing! She helped me make a gluten-free cake for my daughter's birthday. Because we have celiac and cannot have cross-contamination and my daughter's friend has a nut allergy, I made the layers (she told me exactly what to do to make it work), and she put it all together and decorated it on a separate surface. She showed me the ingredients of all the icing and food coloring and we were able to safely enjoy the cake. Did I mention the cake was the most beautiful cake I've ever seen??? I told her "unicorn" and figured it would be pretty simple. No way! She made a BEAUTIFUL cake that was jeweled up, decked out, and super tasty! The kids LOVED it! So, I would highly recommend this bakery! And if you have a food allergy, just talk to her about it and see what she can do!“
“Their cookies are absolutely the best. American Cookie, the only real competitor IMO, is good and has its place but Crumbl's gourmet take on a cookie is absolutely delightful. Now there's been a flavor or two that wasn't exactly for me (Cannoli & Gingerbread Cake) but that's just par to personal tastes. Their peanut butter cookie with Reese's pieces is the best peanut butter cookie I've ever had, and I've ate quite a variety. The Strawberry Crumb Cake was my most favorite (thus far at least). I really like that they change the flavors up weekly. Only draw back to that is I can't always try them all. If you've not been to a Crumbl yet, you must go.“
“My friend and I had lunch here for the first time, and we both ordered the Reuben sandwich with a salad. I wish there would have been more meat in my sandwich (which cost $16 with an iced tea), but it was still delicious. My biggest complaint was with the staffing. There were three servers, and they all worked our table. No sooner had one left than another would arrive to ask if we needed anything. It was intrusive!“
“This is absolutely the best bakery in the South. Everything on the menu is absolutely amazing from the cookies, brownies, donuts, cakes to the breakfast biscuits and sausage pastries. Not only do they create these delicious sweet masterpieces, these ladies have amazing customer service and have a great family friendly atmosphere. They get to know their regulars and genuinely care for each and everyone of them. You haven’t tried this bakery you are definitely missing out on the best of the best.“
“This has to be one of the best places to eat that actually reminds you of your grandma's cooking! Love Sherry's Cafe, they even waited on me to pick up my food even though I was only like 1 minute behind it was very nice of them. I will always be grateful!“
“The food is great I don't think they have anything that is not good. And the girls behind the counter are just wonderful even though you know they're tired they still smile I appreciate that when you walk in you expect the smell of bread cuz it's Edgar's Bakery but no fresh bread to make your mouth water with hunger. They do have breads just not the kind granny used to make some of the people there the customers they kind of seem uptight maybe it has something to do with my long gray hair and white beard old people love cupcakes I must warn you it's not a weekly treat it was $37 for six cupcakes four orange rolls but they did give us two free cupcakes not to mention all that sugar. I have never asked but does anybody know can you order the orange rolls and cinnamon rolls without the frosting?“
“We've visited the Trussville location twice and have had a great experience both times! They have a nice variety of different donuts and apple fritters. But don't skip the other menu items! The chicken minis are so amazing, especially with some cheesy hashbrowns on the side. The service is very friendly and fast. And the restaurant is always very clean and welcoming. This will definitely continue to be one of our regular breakfast spots!“
“I go here and buy the day old bread for my cat fish pond .. My visit this time was not asenjoyable as it has been in previous visits. It seems they may be under new management or something and the prices are definitely going up.But it still a great deal.“
“I haven't tried mine yet but I wanted to say it smells amazing. Mya was the lady who took my order. She was very patient with my large order. She had to bake another batch of cookies just to fill my order and not only did she offer me something for free for the extended wait but she also made a fresh batch of the other cookies because I was already having to wait. Her hospitality and attitude was refreshing. She was very respectful and helpful and always with a smile. I will be returning if the cookies are good as they smell and as good as the service I received tonight!“
“Found this place by accident, but I'm happy I did! Nature's own is my favorite whole wheat bread (the 100% whole wheat is vegan and delicious), and in here it's only $1.59! They had some loaves of Dave's Killer Bread as well, but it was stale. I bought one for $3.50, and will probably freeze it and use it for toast. If you eat packaged snack cakes, they had a bunch for less than $1.“
“I enjoyed getting donuts and drinking coffee here. The donuts are okay. I wish they had more vegetarian savory options. What really makes the place special though is the lady is super cool, and has a nice inviting personality. Definitely will be back.“
