“Everyone at the counter was cheerful with good vibes! Happy to help and very respectful. Meka, the general manager, has some crazy good vibes! I can see why she is the general manager. All smiles, all laughs, and cutting up. Awesome people working here. The food was as fresh as it could get and hot. No cold fries, burgers weren’t cold and the drinks had the perfect ratio on syrup/carbonation. The lobby was very clean, the bathrooms were clean, behind the counter was clean (aside from a few fries, but that happens) the folks working here definitely make a difference in eating at a fast food restaurant. That’s why I gave 5 stars on atmosphere. It’s Burger King for crying out loud. We all know what to expect, it’s the employees that really make a difference in the atmosphere.

If you’re reading this Meka, I hope you stay vibrant and keep pulling people up with you. Awesome job, all of you!“

“These days it's hard to find good service at a fast food restaurant. Lord knows this location has had its fair share of challenge. However, on Oct. 11th, 2024 at 11:10PM the night manager there was absolutely amazing. The best service I ever recieved at this location and she was a joy to do business with. Let her run the place and bring in people like her, because her customer service is elite.“

I was invited to come and score a burger for Burger 101, and what an awesome experience. They have an awesome Smash Burger. Fresh, never-frozen beef patty "Smashed" to perfection. “I have left this review in other spots in addition to this one. This restaurant earned the effort. There were three of us. We had 45 minutes to eat and then 15 to get to the courthouse for a meeting. I had seen the place a few weeks before and wanted to try it. When we arrived the parking lot was about full. Good sign for food quality usually. Bad sign for someone who only has 45 minutes to eat. We asked the wait-staff if they thought they could pull-off a 30 minute race to get our food to the table. She worked with us by advising what meals/items took longer to prepare and we said game on. Best burgers I have had in Alabama in a decade. T H E B E S T !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All three of us were in awe of how good the meal was. The wait-staff was fast, courteous, knowledgable, helpful, and pleasant. I am usually happy if I get just two of those in a server. Our server had them all. We are already planning to go back for a less rushed, more relaxed dinner soon. The dining room was clean, comfortable, and did not have the echo-filled cafeteria acoustics a lot of places do. Outstanding place. Outstanding burgers. Outstanding service. I highly recommend it.“

“I visited Mcdonalds in Southside Al with my family for dinner. We had a rather large order so was pulled up. We never mind this as we know it can be an inconvenience to the staff. The young man who brought our food out was very sweet, greeted us, and brought back things we needed. I didn't catch his name but he deserves a raise (Tall, red hair, big grin from ear to ear)“

“I have been to this location a lot, but never have I encountered anyone with such a caring heart as James. He is always at the drive-thru and has the most upbeat and positive personality. His happiness brings a smile to your face. He always checks my order, and since I have been through there the past two days, my food has been hot and fresh every time. I sure wish every drive-thru had a James. I seriously hope Jack's appreciates James as much as we do. He is definitely sunshine on a cloudy day. One of the BEST employees at this location.“

“They have had a problem with enough employees. Up until the last few months, all was great. It was hit or missed getting a correct order. The last 2 times, everything was correct. I just make sure I check my order before i leave the parking lot.“

“The young lady was real rude and kept trying to end my order before I could get done then my food was cold, I got a bacon cheese biscuit and the biscuit had way to much butter and was very hard the bacon was so tough I couldn't chew it and the cheese was beside the biscuit instead of being in it like it should have been“

“First time getting Jacks for breakfast, and I was pleasantly surprised. I got the breakfast wrap, which was decent, definitely more than edible. The hash rounds are where it's at though. They were hot, crispy and you get a quite large serving. I got lemonade and it's a bit more sweet than sour, but still good. The staff was very pleasant and polite.“

“My husband and I are here on a Saturday morning, this place is packed and very busy, The sweet lady at the cash register Vickie, is amazing so friendly, with such a beautiful soul, So Miss Vickie if you are reading this, we want you to know that no matter what anyone says, or how discourage you may get, That you are doing an awesome job, we seen you! We saw how you were running around trying to keep up with all the orders and the demands of the customers and some of your co-workers. It truly upset my husband and I to hear the way the manager was talking to you, because you were doing your job and doing it great, so we don't understand why she was being rude to you ... Anyway... Jack's (manager) Treat your employees with respect, especially when said employee is your elder and doing their job the best they can.“

“The waitress was doubling as the hostess, and she took my Togo order from a table because I was not feeling sick. They quickly got my order made, and they were very friendly. I had ordered 2 big bowls of taco soup and 2 Cesar salads, and both were great tasting.

“I had the best experience that I have ever had at a McDonald’s ! The young lady that took my order, I believe her name was Bree . She was the sweetest and most helpful employee from any location that I have ever met . She was so patient with me and my 7 year old who couldn’t make up his mind what he wanted so she helped us . I wished every employee was like this . Thank you Bree for being so kind, and no I don’t know her . I know her folks are very proud of this beautiful young lady . This was the Rainbow Drive location across from the Gadsden Mall .

Parking: Parking was ok, little hard to get back out onto Rainbow Drive but then again this is a Saturday night .“

“As I sit here and enjoy my fresh hot food that was served with a smile, I'm hearing the manager telling her staff that they are doing a great job as a team, keeping everything flowing. She also says please and thank you to her staff!!! This absolutely should be recognized by her supervisor and they entire crew today!! So Many times you see and hear the negative things but today I want you to know about this INCREDIBLE TEAM working on February 2,2025 @12:30 pm!!! “Nobody came to the register to take our order so we needed up having to use the kiosk. After waiting 20 mins for our food (we were the only ones waiting inside) my husband went up and asked about our food. The staff said she put it together a few mins ago and the phone rang and she forgot about it. Good thing I told my husband to go check. When you’re on a road trip you’re trying to be quick. That’s why it’s called fast food. This location was anything but fast. We’ll stop at another location next time.“
