“I ordered a to go order for my mother who is on hospice. I got home with the order and found out that I had only been given half the order, which was all fried. I wasn't very happy that I had to go back and get what I ordered for my mother, which was a bowl of gumbo. I called and let them know they hadn't given me what I wanted, and they started saying that I hadn't ordered it, to which I responded that was the first thing I ordered. So I went back and got the gumbo and told them that they hadn't given me the bread pudding, either. The guy went to the kitchen to get it, but it took 15 minutes for him to bring it to me, and he had apparently waited for someone else's order before bringing my bread pudding. I am very, very disappointed in the service I received at this location and may never return. Yes, I am a local who has been there more times than I can remember. For you to have been in business for so many years, I expected much better service. This is not how you stay in business.“

“On October 18, 2025 we gave my mother a 90th birthday party there. And we had a great time. The staff was amazing. The food was awesome. We had family from Illinois, Michigan, Georgia Texas. And they all gave great praises to the atmosphere the food and the staff. I recommend this place for any person that wants to have a great meal with great people. “My experience at this particular location is always great the servers are very kind and the food is really good.. But tonight on Sunday December 19,2021 wasn't their best. I normally get the cheesesteak melt with hashbrowns I ask if they would pretty please leave the bacon with no weight. Unfortunately the food tonight was terrible the hashbrowns were cold in the middle an the bacon looked like beef Jerky ha ha !! However my server told the cook my order correctly an was very kind an helpful.. I normally don't complain but I always get great service here .. I hope their better next time!!
