Morales Tienda y Taqueria is a hole-in-the-wall type place in Troy, Alabama, appearing as a small grocery store with a few tables. The ambiance is unimpressive and the sign is handmade, but the best Mexican food comes from such places. The food is very good and everything is super fresh. The tacos, including asada and chorizo, are excellent, as are the Pastor Torta and Asada Torta. The volcano with carnitas is also very good. The staff is incredible, friendly, helpful, and very nice, with a passion for what they do. It is definitely recommended.
