“When you walk in, you instantly feel like you're supposed to be there. This family run establishment is exactly what you need in your life for so many different occasions. They support local, they grow Jonesboro, and the food/bev program gives you a feeling of "oh wow, these people care." It's a gem, and if you're reading this google review and don't go... shame on you.“

“Visited this local restaurant for breakfast and it was very good. I got the garbage plate with some French toast. Everything was cooked fresh and served quickly after ordering. The prices are very fair for what you get and they have a range of options as far as the breakfast menu. Their lunch menus looked good as well and I will try them during that meal time in the future.“

“Skinny Js is a go to restaurant in Jonesboro. I do not believe I have had anything there that was not tasty. There sandwiches are top notch and I love the buffalo chicken wrap. I also think one of the best fries in town because of its unique shape and texture and if that's not your thing the homemade chips are wonderful. If I had a complaint I would like to see some more fresh sandwiches on their menu. All of the sandwiches are heavy and if you're in the mood for something light it is hard to find something here for that.“

“Great tasting food, attentive staff, and clean atmosphere. Value for the food...eh, not so much. I paid almost $9 for the stuffed mushrooms appetizer, and there were five (5) medium/small sized mushrooms. That's $2 each (after tax and tip)! Then we got our main course: two grilled chicken kids' meals, a ribeye steak, and the Napa Valley chicken. The grilled chicken tenders had ZERO flavor. The kids ate more ketchup than chicken. The broccoli was "too salty and too sour," so my kids pretty much ate nothing for $12 ($6 each). The ribeye was very thin and a bit bland, but overall fine. The Napa Valley chicken is supposed to come with artichokes, mushrooms, and tomatoes. There were three tiny pieces of chicken, with two artichoke hearts, three pieces of tomato, and two mushroom caps-- for $15!So, the prices bug me, but other than that, it was fine. :)“

“Newks is a big “go-to” for me, being gluten and dairy free (I know… insert eye roll ? but it’s real). So, I go to a lot of Newks all over the south. I will say I am a little biased to this one. Mainly because I have seen the owner/managers get in there and do every job from trash, bussing tables, delivering food to working the register. Always nice. Always clean. Consistently fresh.“

“This place is amazing! They have tons of toppings for your salad, they also have soup and cookies. You build your own salad and pay by the weight. The restaurant is spotless and the ladies working there were very nice and helpful! The avocado dressing was delicious! The prices may be a little high but, to me it was worth it! I’m sure my salad wasn’t really healthy by the time I got done but, it sure was good!“

“We dined here while visiting family. The lady taking orders was very kind. However, there was a misunderstanding when another lady brought our order to the table. She got extremely short with us. I explained it was just a misunderstanding, and that is why we questioned it. There also a side remark about her not having enough hands to carry all the plates so we just needed to wait. They also did not have high chairs or anywhere to put an infant car seat (at least that I saw as I did not ask). It was fine because I brought a stroller instead. Food was good though.“

“Me and my friend Case went here, it was overall good but I didn't get much food because Case ate it all, Case loved it all, turns out he's a regular, Service was great, luckily they didn't kick me out for bringing CaseParking: My friend Case fell on the parking lot so there is now a big gaping hole in it.Kid-friendliness: Kids should not come as they are at risk of getting eaten by my friend Case.Wheelchair accessibility: There was a wheelchair ramp and bathroom but both were unsafe after my friend Case used them.“

“I love this place! They have a fish fry on Thursday and Friday, with delicious deep fried catfish plates served fresh until 7. The Shake Shop burger is one of the best burgers in the area, and is the best option in town, hands down. The ladies keep a clean store with a convenient drive thru window for to go orders, this is the best restaurant from Bay to Trumann.“
