“Holy moley. We read the reviews and had to try it. So happy I did. We are on vacation from Illinois and this place makes us want to move across the street so we could eat here everyday. The biscuits are giant, homemade, and Delicious. The homemade sausage gravy was Amaaazing! Breakfast ham almost made my husbands eyes water it was so good. My puppy was even taken care of with a fresh bowl of water on the patio. The staff was friendly and very attentive but not overly. We just love this place and will come back next time we visit for sure.“

This Bentonville institution had been praised by practically everyone we’d met when we asked for great food recommendations on our recent stay, so we had to pay it a visit. Tavola serves hearty, authentic Italian and Mediterranean fare. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and our server Emily was a wonderful host. We started with a bottle of Fontella Chianti, to enjoy with the complimentary focaccia, and shortly after ordering, the antipasti arrived; Calamarello, a fritto misto style dish of fried squid, prawns, aubergine and courgette, and an Insalata Colorata, with kale, baby spinach, red gem lettuce, carrots, fennel, and a herbed lemon vinaigrette topped with creamy Burrata. And the main courses were also outstanding; The Westlake Stromboli, was an incredible crab, shrimp, basil pesto, parmesan & mozzarella rolled pizza, and the Ravioli Tavola was stuffed with blue crab meat on house parmesan cream drizzled with roasted red bell pepper sauce- a superb pasta dish. I loved the Ramen as well, but we went back and ordered more Bao buns after eating one. ✨ First come first serve seating was a little tough at first but we enjoyed the open table friendly atmosphere and enjoyed talking with other patrons. There are separate booths, which is nice but only 6 of them, so we had to sit at a big table with other people.
