“We are visiting from out of state and have wanted to try this restaurant for the past few years that we have come to this area. This time the stars aligned and we were able to! There was a one hour wait which we were informed of. Beautiful view of the lake and an unseasonably nice cool breeze while waiting. Exceptional service from Stacy. She was attentive and like clockwork, knew exactly when to come around. Started with the shrimp wraps for an appetizer. Really tasty dipping sauce! The salad bar was unbelievable! So delicious with lots to choose from and very fresh. We shared a bottle of Malbec from Argentina as it is our second wedding anniversary:). My husband got the pork osso bucco and I got the blackened barramundi over grits. Both delicious! Came home with boxes because we could not finish them. Pro tip:… Don’t fill up on the salad bar! We couldn’t resist getting a dessert to go and everything sounded great but we chose the Girl Scout cookie samoa cheesecake which we ended up eating later that night. Every bite had us remarking on just how fantastic it was… Do yourself a favor and get a dessert. You won’t regret it. We had a conversation with one of the owners, Beth, who was delightful. Looking forward to dining here again. We will probably be back next year for another vacation. (And we want to try the Sunday brunch then.) The parking was a bit of a pain and seems dangerous on that road but… we were aware of that after reading reviews prior to our visit.“
