“We had brunch today at Mockingbird Kitchen. Everything was wonderful. There was no wait time and we arrived at 11:00. The place was full but we got right in. I had the eggs Benedict with a side of cheese grits. My boyfriend had the chicken and waffles with a side of cheese grits. We both agreed they were the best cheese grits we had ever eaten. Everything we ate was superb. The waiter was very attentive. We will definitely be back.“

“We were looking for a place fun to go and have a drinkon my daughter‘s 21st birthday, which is Christmas Eve and there weren’t many places open. When we walked through the door, the owner was standing there and immediately offered us a warm cookie and told us to get in here and let’s have some fun! Karaoke wasn’t supposed to start for an hour or two, but she fired it up early for us and made the evening really special! The bartender was fantastic and they really made the Perfect! “Great local bar. I swear it’s a different vibe every time I go. The staff are good people and they get to know you after only a couple visits. They have live music often, a chili cook-off in the fall, and is always full of regulars. We stop in often, sometimes just for a John Daley drink.“

“I tried this place for the first time tonight. I am in-love with it. I can’t wait to eat here again. A tad far from home but worth a fun short road trip. MICHAEL went above and beyond in his customer service talents. The food is delicious but his service really made it a 5-star experience. The queso has a homemade flavor and the jalapeño relish is spot-on with the right consistency and hotness and sweet note. I found the atmosphere to be very hip and uplifting and honestly, this place really made my day. Thanks, Smitty’s and thank you, Mr. Michael!“

“What a surprise!!! Great food. Wonderful service!! Wife had the fish tacos and said it was the best she’s ever had. Background music is at just the right volume. I would definitely come back!! Parking is a challenge. If the lot behind the restaurant is full you’ll need to find the overflow parking. As you pass the place on the side you’ll see a bunch of signs that boldly say NO FEED AND FOLLY PARKING!! When you get to the bottom of the hill turn left and you’ll find the extra parking. They do need to do some lot repairs here. It’s in pretty bad shape.“

“We came to town from Mountain Home where we own a small cafe and this was by far some of the best food we have ever had!
