“First we arrived at Fisherman’s Wharf, got in quite fast. Very friendly staff we sat and ate dinner with lalo around 6:30. Didn’t get serviced until 6:45, when he came to the table is was very unprofessional and uncomfortable. Overall he did a great job and we got our food quickly, but every time he would approach the table he would have an attitude. The catfish was great, and my husband enjoyed the grouper oscar. 4.3/5* overall“

“We are from Louisiana and came to Arkansas, just for the heck of it. Sat down at a local lookout and found this place on google. It’s delicious and we will definitely be going back! We did take out but want to dine in next time. 10/10 recommend!!! I had the small, Chicago style pizza.“

“Loved 501 Prime! The hostess got us in and seated quickly, she was very friendly, upbeat and had a great personality! Emerald was our server and she was exceptional! Emerald was very knowledgeable about everything 501 Prime, very attentive, friendly and engaged! Actually, not a single employee walked by our table that didn’t stop and engaged in a conversation. Everything we ordered was perfection. Just excellent service and food all the way around. Great experience, we’ll be back!“

“The Ohio Club never disappoints. The food is always excellent. Leave room for dessert! The staff are meticulous and personable, and attentive. We came here to Hot Springs on a whim several years ago. This is our fourth time here...we mainly come for the views and to bask in the history that is The Ohio Club!“

“Server Jordyn was so personable and caring to every customer. You could see how happy their customers were. The pizza was delicious. We had the med with hot honey and beef and blue cheese with opera sauce. Amazing. Quality ingredients for sure. Specialty cocktail was like a cucumber Tom Collin’s - refreshing and great. The ice in the drinks is the awesome crunchy ice. The bathrooms are spotless. You could see the care all of the staff takes and little details. Happy employees, welcoming vibe. Superb playlist. “$15 a person and totally worth it. We enjoyed the broccoli beef, chicken on sticks, sesame chicken, crab rangoons, and the crème brûlée + soft serve for desserts. Classic Chinese buffet vibes , very nostalgic but food was hot and fresh. Buffet was very busy with lots of families. Service was awesome, she refilled our water every time we got up and brought the bill but said no rush.“
“Stopped by Superior Bathhouse Brewery while in Hot Springs and it definitely delivered on both food and beer.
I ordered the Fun Guy Patty Melt with mac & cheese and a 4-beer flight to get a good sample of what they offer.
The patty melt comes stacked with two beef patties sourced from Natural State Beef Company, Swiss cheese, house-made mayo, sautéed onions, and mushrooms on toasted sourdough. (I skipped the mushrooms and added some of their local Arkansas hot sauce from the table.) That little adjustment gave the sandwich just the right kick, bringing out the richness of the grilled beef and balancing nicely with the sweetness of the onions. The bread had a solid toast on it, holding everything together without getting soggy.
The mac & cheese on the side was creamy, smooth, and comforting, simple but done right, with a nice peppery finish.
For the beer flight (4 samples, about 4 oz each, perfect for trying multiple options), I went with:
Sweet Nectar of the Gods (Cream Ale) – slightly sweet with hints of vanilla and a light honey finish. Smooth and easy to drink.
Spicy Ride (Jalapeño Ale) – my personal favorite. Just enough heat to warm your lips without overpowering the beer. Balanced really well.
Cerveza con Limón (Mexican Lager) – light, crisp, and refreshing with a subtle lime note.
DeSoto’s Folly (Golden Stout) – rich and roasty but surprisingly light in color, with a smooth finish.
The flight is a great way to explore their lineup without committing to a full pour.
Overall, this place has a unique concept (brewing beer with thermal spring water), solid food, and a laid-back atmosphere that fits Hot Springs perfectly. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re in town.“
