“With the winter storm rolling in today and a good chance of businesses closing, Perry and I decided to grab lunch from a local food truck. Best decision ever. We stopped by Grilled Sandwich Company at The Filling Station NLR. Perry went with the Club on a Sub and I ordered the BLT. Let me tell you… phenomenal does not even begin to cover it. I have not had a BLT in probably 10 years, and this one absolutely delivered. Grilled garlic Texas toast, extra thick bacon, and those tomatoes. Y’all. Those tomatoes tasted homegrown and FRESH, even in freezing January. As small business owners ourselves, Perry and I truly understand how much supporting local matters. Sometimes that support is the difference between making it through the month or having to pay a late fee on a bill or two. Please go support local when you can. Your dollars matter, and your taste buds will thank you. You will not be disappointed. ❤️🥪”

“I was so impressed at Red lobster in North Little Rock, AR last night. Greeted when my buddy and I walked in the door. Then the manager super nice guy greeted us. We were seated and our waitress was on top of it. Drinks, delicious biscuits hot fresh, stuffed mushrooms and lobster dip, did not disappoint either of us. We each had the boiling bag seafood 🍤. Excellent choice I had seen the advertisement on tv had to have it. Happy customers, great staff I’ll be back to this location 💯. “Coffee corner is such a gem. I commute from Vilonia area to Little Rock every day. It’s a very easy “side quest” from 40/430 and it’s less than a 5 minute detour (so, there’s no reason to stop at a crappy “chain” for convenience purposes). The coffee is absolutely top tier, the pastries are to die for, and the customer service is second to none. They actually called me after I left with my last to go order there to tell me they realized they made a mistake with it (for which I honestly had no idea, I thought the coffee was absolutely perfect 😂), and they insisted they were refunding my order. They are a little joy in my day and they deserve all the business they can get.”

Since it was my first time, I asked for a recommendation and Kristen suggested the White Chocolate Swirl protein smoothie. She added a drizzle of chocolate and some whipped cream, and let me tell you… I’m obsessed!!!

While I was there, I also had the chance to meet the owner, Alexia. She mentioned business has been a little slow since opening in July, and honestly, I think people may not realize this place is under new ownership. I even noticed the last review was from three years ago, so I felt like I had to step in and share something positive!

They package the noodles in a separate container and the soup has perfectly cooked chunks of stew beef that are tender and full of flavor, Chinese broccoli, and a savory and spicy broth! “This review is long over due. I was introduced to this place by my cousin who is a foodie. She told me to try the Hot & Spicy chicken which is made with bell peppers and onions. It is absolutely delicious! Eventually I tried the shrimp egg foo young which I’ve love as a small child living in Chicago. With so much appreciation for this dish I was nervous. But OMG! They make it exactly the way I remember and so many places do it differently. I am writing this review today because I drove by and could practically taste this food! “Absolutely outstanding experience at Corky’s BBQ in North Little Rock! I have to give a huge shoutout to our waitress, Nichole — she was AMAZING. Due to a staffing issue, she was literally running the entire floor by herself, and you would have never known it from her attitude or service. She was on top of everything, juggling multiple tables effortlessly, staying upbeat, attentive, and genuinely kind the whole time. She truly made the entire experience.

On top of the exceptional service, the food portions are insanely huge and the prices are very reasonable. You definitely get your money’s worth here. This was my first time at Corky’s, but it will absolutely not be my last.

“I was really happy with my experience from the moment I walked in. I went in with my daughter to use the restroom unaware it was for paying customers only. When we approached the door the lady who appeared to be the manager greeted us and went straight to get the key without asking us any questions

The man made my sandwich to perfection! It was perfectly portioned, and neat. He even told me about the sub of the day which I decided to get.

The lady who was at the register was very friendly and reminded me to get my chips. She even gave my daughter a free cookie! That was so nice of her!

This SUBWAY reminds me of the good ole days! Good food, Good Service, Clean Environment!!
