“My husband and I had been seeing their sign on our many trips to Texarkana. So today we tried it and the food was delicious! Ate still I couldn't hold anymore and still have to bring a bunch of my leftovers home. The people are super friendly and checked with us several times to see if we needed anything else. I recommend this place and we will definitely be going back ourselves.“

“Very good place except that in this weather it is cold but the food is very good

Vegetarian options: I don't think they have a complete menu but they do.

Parking: Well, I don't know if there was bread and jalapenos because that was what we were missing.
For the next time we would eat there again but as a good Mexican we would like you to have chili peppers (jalapeños)

“I travel all over the Texas triangle for work eating at the top 50 best BBQ restaurants plus other BBQ restaurants and this restaurant is very good. Out of all TX BBQ restaurants, this restaurant has my number 1 large chop beef sandwich and number 1 pinto beans which are free when dining in and number 1 loaded baked potato with chopped beef. The turkey and chicken are top notch. The BBQ sauce is top 5 for me. I have eaten here dozens of times.“

“I give a 4-star rating on the food only because I love French fries as my side, and it's hit/miss if my fries are a little soggy. I order extra crispy, and about 1/2 the time they are, and unfortunately, the 1/2 they are not. The brisket has a nice smoked flavor, and the turkey is always nice and moist. They offer several good BBQ sauces, and I always enjoy the free sliced onions, baked beans, and jalapenos. The only place in Texas where you will find beverages at $1.29! Kudos to Big Jakes!“

I ordered the brisket and the jalapeno and cheese sausage, both of which were fantastic—they didn't require sauce, but the spicy BBQ sauce was a tasty touch. And don't forget about the peach cobbler—it was delicious! The staff was excellent, and the entire eating experience was amazing. Continue your excellent work!“

“I had the pleasure of attending a birthday party of a good friend and there was alot of people. The young lady that waited on our party was top of the line. She was amazing keeping up with us. She is one of the best in town. Thanks for a great time and great food.“

“Eric gave us great service Friday evening. It was our first time, and he was so helpful and knowledgeable. The wait to be seated was pretty long, but it gave me a chance to look at the website. I realized we could have checked in beforehand to save some waiting. We will do that next time. The gluten free menu was so helpful. My partner has Celiac disease, so he was so thankful to find a new place where he can actually eat.
