“Perfect end to a good day of hiking…except after our bellies were full there was still a long drive home that was hard to stay awake for.
Visually appealing little place with good food and good atmosphere.
I did not realize when I ordered the corn on the cob side that it was fried. Not battered and cried like southern fried chicken but seasoned and fried. I was skeptical and offered one cob to others at the table. Soon after I had devoured both cobs and not even touched the brisket on my plate. Wow, that was so yummy. The meat and sauces were very good as well. I think two of us ate for about $30 but I can’t really remember that part just that I like corn.
Plenty of parking, same level as entry porch, it is gravel. You order when you walk in, then get your drinks and have a seat wherever you’d like. Dessert was tempting but we did not have room in our bellies.“

“Fantastic fishing experience. Every employee i met was friendly & nice. Of our 4 guides, 3 were great. the 4th...well if you learn your guide is "crazy mike" just go back to your room and watch TV... you'll have a more enjoyable day.“

“Quiet and peaceful stay…
We spent two days at Buffalo Point Cabin over the 4th of July weekend in 2025 while visiting Buffalo National River. The cabin’s location was excellent to access the river and a number of hiking trails. The property had a great view of the Buffalo River. The room was clean and spacious. It has microwave, refrigerator and also offer a variety of other amenities. The design choice to have a large open window to the bed from the dining table was noteworthy to us. The surroundings were magical at night with a stunning display of fireflies. The office manager was friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return again.“
