“We were so sad when Temari Japanese Cuisine changed owners, so we had to restart our sushi hunt in the east valley. After several attempts we finally found a contender, Mikado Sushi!! The quality was amazing, the fish was fresh, and differing from Temari, they actually offer Toro!! We are so excited to finally find a replacement! In addition to the fresh nigiris, make sure to try the Hamachi Carpaccio, absolutely delicious! On top of the amazing food, the service was incredible as well. The waitress was so thoughtful and seated us away from the ac vent so our baby wouldn’t be cold, then later a different staff members came over to ask if the temp was too cold for our baby! So sweet, we can’t wait to be back!“

“I love Hon Machi so much. I have been eating here for almost 15 years! My son grew up on the miso soup and the best fried rice on the planet! “I’ve been here a few times. This time I came for lunch since the kids are free for Chinese new years. It was great. They got to try a bunch of things and get ice cream at the end of the meal. I’ve been here with a bigger group and had the same experience - try lots of things. I think it’s good value for the experience. I like Crazy Tuna and feel the quality is better but Pakusan is much closer and I have no complains. The beef tips are always a hit!“

“I’ve just returned to Chandler and noticed a new Japanese style restaurant in Downtown Ocotillo, conveniently located on Queen Creek Road. The location is excellent, with easy access and plenty of parking. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated in a modern style and finished to a very high standard. The background music was noticeable without being intrusive and added nicely to the overall ambience.

Now to the food. I started with the Avocado Salad, a generously sized dish with plenty of fresh vegetables, lightly dressed in a subtle balsamic vinaigrette. It was fresh, balanced, and very tasty.

For my next course, I chose the Yellowtail Sashimi. The dish featured five large slices of beautifully fresh fish that were tender, delicate, and full of flavour.

For the main course, I selected the Katsu Curry Chicken. The chicken was moist and coated in perfectly seasoned panko breadcrumbs, served alongside white rice and a fresh cabbage slaw. A comforting and well-executed dish.

Overall, my visit was a fantastic experience that I can highly recommend. The team was attentive, friendly, and very helpful throughout the evening. I will definitely be visiting again.“

“I really enjoyed the sushi and have been there several times. I recommend it to people ALL the time. I like going when they reopen at 4 pm. Everything is very fresh. The staff have always been kind. If there is something you have had and don't see it on the belt. JUST ASK, they will make it right away for you and make sure you have a many plates of that item. Before placing the rest on the belt. The stuffed mushrooms are awesome.“

“Today I ordered Yellowtail Kama and a Hamachi Handroll for delivery and you all knocked it right out of the park. You can tell that TLC was put directly into every piece of food as it was simply amazingsauce!

“Just tried this place for the first time! And wow super good with lots of options!! Feels very homey inside and family friendly! The staff was great and the food was awesome too. My wife and I can’t wait to go back and try more items on the menu. We had a mix of the sushi and entrees. Saw some of the ramen come out which looked delicious. Adding this place to our rotation! Our 8 month old loved it too!!“

“Great, clean and express Korean food. My husband’s restaurant used to own a Chinese Korean restaurant in Korea and SF, and he said this is quite legit.

Good Kim Chi - very tasty.

PaJeon (seafood pancake) - crispy on the outside and seafood was cooked to perfection.

Korean Fried Chicken - both original and sweet and spicy are very good

Bibimbap - bulgogi is too sweet for my liking. But not bad

Spicy Pork bento box - very good

Jajiangmyuen- very good. Unfortunately, camera didn’t get to eat until the end.

Spicy Pork Belly - excellent. Highly recommended.

Tteokbokki- stirred fried rice cake - rice cake was tough, too al dente but good flavors.

Jjamppong (spicy seafood)
noodles - texture of the noodles is a little bit more al dente than my liking but broth are yummy. Very authentic flavors. Highly recommended.“
