“Stopped in on a travel day for a beer and some pizza. We had the buttercrust cheese and sausage. I am not a big fan like my boyfriend is, however, this was the exception. Light, airy crust with an amazing blend of cheeses. We had some left and it re heated nicely for a quick lunch the next day. We are only in town for a week and will be popping back in Friday for another pizza.Our server was efficient and had great recommendations. We got the spinach artichoke dip and that was wonderful as well.“

Enjoyed the visit and shared information from SAVAHCS VAVS and AZ State Veterans Home in Tucson. They did and are doing work to make the post more accommodating for functions. “Showed up on a Thursday night, when they do karaoke. It was slow to start, but Oh. My. Goodness... what a crowd! Can't recommend it highly enough. You won't get up much, because the room is FULL of singers, and they're all GOOD. It started very country heavy, but branched out fast as people started rolling in. By 11 it was a roiling and delightful scene. DJ Jake is a pro, and keeps the order rolling with literally ZERO filler or delay, and is an amiable and personable soul. “Bartender was stressed. She was alone and clearly needed help. We had 6 people and our food didn't come out together. My son inlaws club sandwich came out 20 minutes after we were done eating. We kept going back and asking where it was. I asked the bartender to have the sandwich taken off the bill. She said she couldn't do that, but he could have cheese cake or a cookie instead. Really? Another person was waiting for her salad, which was taking forever. She went back in for the 3rd time and saw it sitting there and just took it. We didn't have any condiments or napkins on the table. It was hard to find a clean table outside. We finally found one without bird poop. Won't be going back.“
