El Pollo Loco has a long history of serving great chicken. This location is very typical — the food was very good and the service not so much. We went through the drive through window. The lady taking our order just couldn’t be bothered to take our order and kept cutting us off so we had to finish our order at the window. 12/12/23 1400hrs $9.06 large chicken tortilla soup with an order of sliced avocado. Soup is very bland not flavorful at all. No benefit is an equal balance of chicken and vegetable mixture. Avocado was fresh and flavorful.
I've always enjoyed El Pollo Loco for years until this afternoon. My wife decided to just go ahead and order through the drive thru, big mistake. This location charged us over $5 more than was listed on their website for the location if we were to order pick up. What would have been only a $1 upcharge online for a small loco salad in a combo meal cost nearly $4 in person.
