“I really enjoy going to the Legion to eat! It's different than all of the restaurants in town that everyone ALWAYS goes to. Even though they do allow smoking in the bar area, the Dining Hall is totally smoke-free & kid friendly, which is nice since I have 2 toddlers. It's a real family environment. Everyone is happy to see everyone, and they welcome you with open arms. It's got a REAL small town vibe. Plus, it's UNLIMITED servings of Fish EVERY Friday! How awesome is that?!“
“Went to The Irish Cowboy tonight for dinner. It is a nice little place in old Town Florence I had the Shepherds Pie. I highly recommend this. The portion size was perfect and the taste was better than I had ever had.My wife had the corn beef and cabbage. I had a little taste and it to was awesome.Our waitress was attentive and went along with our crazy humor. The prices are fair.I will be back many more times as I had a hard decision on what to order.“
“Parking is a bit of a mess and the dining hall is really big which I appreciate especially since I’ll have a little one on the way. They provide lots of high chairs and etc baby stuff for kids. I was a little disappointed to see that 9 months ago, someone posted that they had chili cheese fries and fried zucchini to arrive with BOTH gone ? All of their chili products were off the menu! I hope it returns because I was really excited for those!The one thing about the food I didn’t like was the Alfredo ☹️ it lacked flavor. However my husbands patty melt was really good. I looked at other peoples food and really should’ve got the fried shrimp and burgers ??Service is slow but they do have alot of families that come in. They definitely need more help here but we were patience as can be. Ill return here once we have our little one out of my stomach and hopefully to try out their other items ?“
