“I decided to give Surf City Sandwich a try after hearing it was good and I was in the mood for a cheesesteak sandwich. I ordered my sandwich to go and was a bit shocked at how expensive it was. This is not a cheap place but they do give you a large sandwich and it comes with fresh chips. The sandwich had a lot of flavor but it was not to my taste and I didn’t care much for it. I felt like I was overcharged for an okay sandwich. The home made chips were very good.“

“The teriyaki chicken was super tender! I ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl lunch special and was pleasantly surprised by the amount and quality of the chicken. The flavor of the teriyaki sauce was was very good without having a processed flavor. Overall, a great value for lunch that included a drink. Would have liked to have some vegetables added in but it was still worth it. This place has a very large & diverse menu. Definitely needs some future visits to explore it all!“

They are so incredibly loud you can’t even hear what’s being said and you have to shout at the cashier and vice versa. “Don’t bother trying to order and eat in. Over 40 minutes for two burgers one fry and one order of green beans. Order on DoorDash because that’s all they work on. Guess the rest of us aren’t hungry.
Update: may 2025 Habit Hamburger contacted me and we discussed the issues. The Habit offered replacements for our order and we just returned to the same restaurant and the service was 100% better this time. Will be trying them again as this is one of our favorite burger places. And the food was delicious as always.“

The young man that was helping us went above and beyond, happily explaining & showing how the pizzas are made to my daughter.
