“The Spurr Lounge is one of those classic Laveen spots that always delivers a good time. The drinks are cheap, the karaoke nights are always fun, and it has that perfect laid-back neighborhood bar vibe. 

What really keeps me coming back though are the wings and fries, easily some of the best in town. Crispy, flavorful, and exactly what you want with a cold drink in hand. It’s the kind of place where you can kick back with friends, sing a few songs, and enjoy great bar food without spending a lot.

Only reason it’s 4 instead of 5 stars is because it can get packed on karaoke nights, but honestly that’s part of the charm. If you’re in Laveen and want affordable drinks, great wings, and a fun local hangout, this spot is definitely worth checking out“

“I really enjoy this place. You have to be patient because it gets busy. But the food hookah music and atmosphere is amazing. Audrey was our helping us out. She made sure my allergies were acknowledged and respected. I don't mind waiting gives you time to talk and you don't feel rushed. The visuals people watching here is superb. Stage room inside needs more lighting + better ventilation/AC.

I'd go again as lots of cool artists come here, but the Where?house is definitely better/more fun but supposedly doesnt have proper HVAC.“

“My favorite place to get an upscale cocktail. The vibe is perfect, the drinks are well balanced and the staff is fantastic. Any time i get the opportunity to introduce someone to highball i take it and revel in the beauty of someone experiencing this marvel for the first time.“

“Ive been here twice and both times, it's great!! The food, and the service are fantastic, and the drinks are all great!! We had the CREAM and the one with the picture on it (I cannot remember what its called!) That were really creamy and nice. We also had the cartographer that was delightfully fruity. The pretzel board was really tasty, sweet and salty dips with fruit and cheeses, and ending off the surprise me shot - the one we had was coconuty and creamy as well!“

“My friend was recently (on Dec 2nd) kicked out of this venue for no reason by overzealous security after driving two hours to see a Katatonia concert and then when he protested against them (verbally, not physically) outside of the venue they arrested him. Wtf? Every American has the right to free speech, especially if they've been mistreated by employees of a business. I would advise everyone to avoid this venue and their fascistic security.“

“I came here with some business associates, who are visiting. It exceeded my expectations. I was a little concerned trying to find it but the whole experience (table, staff, food) was great. The views!!!!-- during the day, the mountains and at night the city lights. I will be taking more people here. It was lovely.“

“Didn’t have any good bur smelled delicious. Almost all the pinball machines didn’t work when I tried them the first time. However someone was there pretty quickly to get them fixed. Karaoke and the dance floor were great! Had a blast.“

“Bikini Lounge is a really great dive bar. There's no food options. The decor, Bartender and locals are the heart and sole of keeping it alive. It is one of the cleanest dive bars I have been to. It is the oldest continuous open running bars in Phoenix.
I highly rate and suggest this establishment. It is a CA$H bar only.“

“I flew Across the country just to try this Bar! Do I think that’s a lot of pressure for a night out? Yes! Somehow, I had no question that this experience would be worth it.

The atmosphere the food the drinks all exceeded expectation. It’s a real gem!!

“I ate a casual breakfast here and loved everything about. The staff was so so nice, latte was great, and they were able to make the incredible breakfast sandwich on really delicious gluten free bread. I ate at a table next to the open windows and enjoyed the view of Portland parkway park. The items for sale here are so cute too!“

“A few friends and I decided to go to Kobalt and we had such a fun time!! The vibes are immaculate, very warm and welcoming. You can tell the performers put a lot of work into their shows and the crowd was really into it, like we were all part of a single, big group of friends. The bartenders were quick with the drinks and great at making conversation. We'll definitely be coming back for another show.“

“If you are looking for a dining spot downtown, especially prior to Diamondback games, concerts, basketball games etc, Carcara is an excellent spot that's easy to find and very accessible to venues. My friends and I frequent Carcara often and have never had a negative experience. Yesterday, we enjoyed summer salads and the fried chicken. Delicious. Our server was attentive without being overly so. He was a joy to chat with and helped with specializing our orders. Having the opportunity to have our parking validated while we ate was quite helpful as well.“
