It's family-run, and it shows in the best possible way: every detail feels considered, from the pacing of the service to the plating.

The kitchen draws on genuine New York Italian roots, and that pedigree comes through on the plate. Portions are generous without tipping into excess. On the server's recommendation I ordered the calzone — beautifully executed, with a blistered, well-structured crust and a filling that struck the right balance of richness and restraint. Enough, gladly, for a second meal the following day.

Worth noting: the same ownership is behind Bambalinos next door, an espresso and donut shop with a genuinely charming speakeasy tucked in the back — a small hospitality universe worth exploring in full.

“This is one of our neighborhood favorites, been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience, The new upgrades are beautiful. Service is always outstanding and the food is sublime!! My faves of course you have to have the garlic bread. It's a must, One of my favorite dishes is the rwb steak and coconut shrimp, is amazing with a baked potato and side salad with ranch, our seriously chef's kiss! Thanks for all you do! Rwb! “We popped in from a recommendation. First off the ambience and decor was absolutely wonderful. Just a perfectly chill aesthetic. We got The Butcher pizza and the Ravioli di Pesce. Easiest way for me to explain what we feel about the food, is we are probably going back tomorrow to try the coffee shop and maybe another pizza. The food is fantastic. The sauce on both items didn't leave me choking on my own stomach acid from heartburn. Just well executed chef'in in the BOH.“

The real stars at this establishment were go to select staff. The maitre'd and his girlfriend / server were always delightful! Always happy to see us too! They deserve 10 stars!

“I literally did a happy dance after every bite!!! I ordered the cheese pizza and chicken carbonara, they were both so delicious!! The cheese pizza was thin, cheesy and perfect, I would say this is my favorite cheese pizza in the state so far. The carbonara was delicious, I added crushed red pepper to mine, because I love some heat!! The garlic bread dipped in Alfredo sauce from here, I swear I’d have it as my last meal, it was that delicious!!! Everything my family has tried for here was fantastic!!“

Ask for Michael when you visit. Happy hour all day Saturday and Sunday with good selection of menu items and drink pricing. It's popular with a lot of locals. This was our 3rd visit and the same two couples were sitting at their favorite spots.

The Gyro Pizza is not to be missed, nor is the Chicken, Artichoke, Spinach calzone. Their mozzarella sticks and fried zucchini are made fresh in house like everything else.

The couple dining with us had their Chicken Schwarma bowl and raved about it then finished with Tirimisu. I've never had room left for dessert but am looking forward to trying their cheesecake and cannoli.

We're gradually making our way thru the menu, and will definitely be back.“

I however, was very disappointed in the calzone. There was no meatball in the calzone. There were strips of some kind of meat in the calzone that tasted nothing like meatballs.. I asked the waitress what kind of meat it was. She said she didn’t know but would check. She came back and told me it was beef and pork. I didn’t order pork I don’t like pork. When the menu says meatballs, it should be meatballs, not pork and some kind of weird tasting beef. If I had ordered spaghetti and meatballs, would it have been strips of this kind of meat across the spaghetti something to think about?“

We had wonderful conversation with Lucy asked her for her schedule so we could come back and visit with her again. We started with their complimentary fresh baked focaccia bread and we asked for a side of marinara for dipping, their sauce is amazing!! We had the happy hour special two pastas or two pizzas with 2 salads and two glasses of wine for $35. My husband and I both had the Caesar salad and we had the Pomodoro pasta and a glass of the house Cabernet Sauvignon. It was absolutely delicious nice and hot and fresh. The wine was a nice addition.
