Krispy Krunchy Chicken Reviews
The chicken is normally really good, but today I was a little disappointed. The chicken wasn't as crispy and crunchy as it usually is and the fries were dry and seemed old. Normally everything is amazing but today just mediocre. I will continue to get my fried chicken there because it is really good. This was the first time in years I was a little put off by my purchase. If you have not had this chicken yet it is a must if you like fried chicken. This location is a convenience...read full review

Krispy Krunchy Chicken is a unique spot, described as an oddball, hole in the wall, and hidden gem. It operates inside a convenience store and smoke shop, also offering services like moving truck rentals, making it a one-stop shop. The atmosphere combines a corner grocery store with a neighborhood Fourth of July barbecue. The chicken is highly praised, called the best halal chicken ever and unlike any fast food chicken, as it is never hours under a heat lamp. Reviews state the chicken absolutely smacks and looks good. They also serve fried chicken, barbecue, biryani chicken, burritos, and taco plates. The burritos are noted as incredible in taste and texture, with one easily feeding two. Specific items like the biryani chicken are okay, and the garlic naan bread can be a little overcooked, but for a restaurant inside a convenience store, the food isn't too bad. Everything on the menu tastes like a grandmother's specialty. The staff is beyond friendly, gives a very welcome vibe, and is hilarious to negotiate with. While the location on a busy corner has a small parking lot and is not the easiest to get into, it is worth the effort. This local business puts effort into making its products stand above corporate sameness and deserves support.
