“My Hawaiian friend told me about this place and I love Hawaiian barbecue so thought I’d try it out. Hapa has officially ruined any other restaurant that serves Hawaiian bbq because other places just dont compare. The food is always fresh, delicious, and large portions. I couldn’t recommend them enough.“

“The food is always super fresh and the add ons and menu are honestly great. It can seem pretty expensive for what it is, but the taste and quality are very good. The staff are always extremely attentive and fast to what you want to add to your bowl. A very solid place!“

“I’ve heard about this new Hawaiian spot for awhile & we finally made it downtown to check them out.. I’m now regretting not trying them sooner!! Teriyaki steak was my fave, the pog juice was amazing & I was able to get me a haupia shaved ice 🤤😋❤️ thank you Loco Style Grindz we will be back & I 1000% recommend giving them a try!!“

“Huge portions, always fresh, sauces are AMAZING!!! Everything on the menu is delicious!! One plate is enough to split for two people or a kids meal for one person if you aren't a big eater. The drinks are great too. Love the appetizers too, don't miss those!“

“I haven’t stopped in since July ‘24. The biggest improvement, the vibrant young gal working the front register and etc. She was very energetic, positive, quick, and friendly (compared to the man that was there always in the past -not the owner/chef, a diff guy). She’s a GREAT addition to your place!
The chef makes The Best Katsu Chicken. It’s made with Panko bread crumbs which also make a huge difference vs other crumbs.
I had to get the Pineapple Fried Rice w BBQ Chicken as this is a favorite of mine. There are so many flavors and textures! Please know my photo, I personally chop my grilled chicken up into small dice so the dish has equal bites.
The portions are large to share or have left overs, which I love!
I also recommend their Sticky Rice and Spring Rolls/Lumpia, so delish!

“This place is awesome. We were JUST in Kauai and this place has at least 2 locations there. It was as great as it was there. Kalua pork & cabbage (could've been more cabbage) , rice and wonderful macaroni salad. They have a lot of other dishes. I would recommend this place anytime!“

“This was my first time & it was so fun! Very friendly staff & great service. They check in with you often when you are in your day bed or sun chairs but will also find you if you are in the pool to make sure you still don’t need anything! I really liked that. The atmosphere was so fun & chill. The DJ played really great songs. Would recommend to friends or family!“

“First time being at this restaurant, the staff was very attentive. They explained the menu very well. They let me know what type of spices they were using. They answered every question that we had the food was so immaculately fresh. The rice was not hard to like some places and the dole whip perfect amazing tastes just like the one in Hawaii I would keep coming back here.
Oh and PS they don’t judge you for mispronouncing the menu items wrong lol. Good job management! Raya deserves all the credit. She was so helpful. And so kind big beautiful smile“
