This place was amazing. I am super picky when it comes to Mexican food as my hubby is from Mexico and is a fantastic cook. We had the Carne asada burritos and tacos Al Pastor. I have been looking for somewhere that had great Al Pastor like in Mexico and finally found it here. Their beans, salsas, and charred japelenos are also delicious. The place is very open and the music just makes it even better. My new favorite place. Will be going there more often.
Absolute best/most authentic tacos I’ve had in Phoenix. Reasonably priced- especially considering they have a salsa bar with free guac and grilled onions and peppers.Margaritas are excellent. They had a 2 for 1 deal and they costed $6.The al pastor is my favorite choice of meat followed by Carne asada, then chicken.

Driving through the area on vacation and stopped in for lunch. Hands down the best quesadillas I've ever had. Tacos were all incredible but the carne asada was our favorite. Fantastic salsa and guac bar. Staff are all friendly and genuinely welcoming. Dining room and bathroom were all markedly clean. Don't skip Tacos Calafia!
