“My wife and I celebrated our 19th anniversary last night at The Capital Grille in Phoenix, and it was truly the best experience we've ever had there — and we've been regulars for years. From the moment we were seated, everything felt special. Our table had a handwritten anniversary card and a rose waiting, which was an incredibly thoughtful touch and immediately made the evening feel personal and memorable. Our server, Susan White, was outstanding. She struck the perfect balance of attentive and relaxed — never rushing us, always kind, and completely on point with every detail. We started with a great bottle of wine and some appetizers that were delicious. Both of our steaks were cooked perfectly, and every dish arrived at just the right time. The meal was flawless from start to finish. A special thank-you to Jennifer, the manager, who stopped by to check in with us. She's a fantastic leader — warm, engaging, and very detail-oriented. She asked specific questions about how our steaks were prepared, even reacting with “Oh, that looks amazing,” which showed she genuinely cares about the guest experience and the quality of the food being served. To top it all off, we received a complimentary dessert, which made the night feel even more appreciated and celebrated. Susan and Jennifer both made a meaningful impression on us. “Absolutely loved this place all around, atmosphere, service and food. My friend and I met our 2 other friends here at 4:00 pm right when they opened. Upon entering, we were greeted and seated by a very nice and friendly young man, who was our server throughout the evening. The restaurant is very small, no tables bigger than to hold a party of 4. The bar though was big, it could accommodate a lot of people. They also have outdoor patio seating which looked very inviting if the weather was cooler.

We started off with the smoking deal they offer, a bottle of wine and a Bruschetta Board for $30. We ordered through out the evening cocktails and beers. They have limited cocktails, but the ones they offer were excellent. I had The V and Serendipity. The 4 of us shared all the tapas orders which were the Truffled Hamachi, 12pc Sashimi Assortment, Green Chili Beef Empanadas, Chicken Skewers, Spicy Salmon Avocado Maki and the Yellowtail Aburi. All was EXCELLENT!

Our server enticed us with a sampler board of AMAZING creative culinary treats. We are now bruschetta fans! For example: my fave was the smoked salmon and crispy capers over a generous spread of home-made, basil pesto. Also the sliced apples over cream cheese and fig jam. Yum! We were in heaven trying all these amazing combinations. You gotta try it! Atmosphere is very young...lots of conversation (so a little noisy) but fun. Very attentive, helpful (and patient ) staff . We liked it much!“

“We found out about this bar sort of by accident after dining at Valentine's. When we went in it was early so we were the only ones in the place, very cool vibe, with Miles Davis playing. Alyssa (sp?) came right to our table and gave us a full rundown on the drinks and helped w/recommendations. The drinks were fantastic, interesting blend of flavors and textures. We will be back! “I highly recommend. They have both a huge bar area and a separate entrance for the family style restaurant. Ordering is a unique because you order at the counter. Once you've decided what you want and pay and then the food is brought to your table. We loved the dessert, including tiramisu, which was prepared well and delicious. We shared it amongst four people. The pizza was amazing (of course). I ate chicken wings and chose orange zesty sauce which I tried on a whim and liked it so much that I will get it next time too. They have a soda bar so the kids got as much as they wanted. I chose to drink the angry cider ale which hit the spot. I'd like to thank the iTrade office for referring this place to us.“
