“What do I recommend? EVERYTHING! Delicious food. Best salad I’ve ever had-The Big Beefstro 👍-absolutely delicious. Our waitress Micole was very accommodating. I asked to substitute the Spicy Chipotle dressing for the Sweet Serrano Pepper dressing - no problem. Our party of 8 included 2 children. Micole put their orders through first and these were delivered in record time. Entree’s for the adults followed shortly after. LARGE portions of delicious food! Micole was efficient and attentive. “Sauce pizza in Queen Creek is top notch. They made my pizza wrong, just forgot the pepperoni. They not only made my pizza correct the second time but gave me the wrong one for free and a 50% off coupon for the next time. They absolutely didn’t have to do that. Their pizza is the best! The lights in front of the TVs att he bar ruin almost any chance of watching them from the rest of dinning room. Would address that truly. Was there a Sunday evening and football was almost impossible to watch.“

“We were a party of 5. Ordered 2 pizzas Chicken Parm sub Large Calzone and MB Stromboli. Food was fresh and served hot (big pet peeve of mine). “Tonight I took my wife to Brooklyn V’s at Jermaine and Gilbert in Gilbert for her birthday. My wife ordered spaghetti and a house salad. I ordered meatball calzones with a house salad.. I however, was very disappointed in the calzone. There was no meatball in the calzone. There were strips of some kind of meat in the calzone that tasted nothing like meatballs.. I asked the waitress what kind of meat it was. She said she didn’t know but would check. She came back and told me it was beef and pork. I didn’t order pork I don’t like pork. When the menu says meatballs, it should be meatballs, not pork and some kind of weird tasting beef. If I had ordered spaghetti and meatballs, would it have been strips of this kind of meat across the spaghetti something to think about?“

“I literally did a happy dance after every bite!!! I ordered the cheese pizza and chicken carbonara, they were both so delicious!! The cheese pizza was thin, cheesy and perfect, I would say this is my favorite cheese pizza in the state so far. The carbonara was delicious, I added crushed red pepper to mine, because I love some heat!! The garlic bread dipped in Alfredo sauce from here, I swear I’d have it as my last meal, it was that delicious!!! Everything my family has tried for here was fantastic!!“

This place makes good food, but like all pizza places there is a constant rotation of teenagers working there. Sometimes you get a good batch and the place runs well. This is not a good batch. Knowing that, you can now temper your expectations to match what you will likely experience here. Will I come back? 100% Yes, because the food is still good just slower and less accurate than before. Class of 2026 we are waiting for you and you have an easy act to follow. ;-)“

“I recently went in to this restaurant on marketplace. It’s right off of the Santan village Parkway. Service with the front counter. Or front of the house is not so good. The problem I have is I come in and I want to look at the menu for just a few moments. But the girls be at the new girls or the girls that have been there a while. Don’t like the fact that I say just give me a minute. Let me look at the menu real quick. Cause I could never seem to find them after I tell them that I just need a minute to look at the menu. Because when they see me walking toward the counter, they wanna ride away asked me how can I help you? What do you want to order. But I don’t know. That’s why I need a moment to look at the menu. So it ends up happening is I have to order using the online app. Or I go through Chrome and just order it online. So I never ever speak to the girls at the front again after I told them I just need a minute to look at the menu. Every now and then there’s a brand new girl that is really helpful. But the girls that have been there a while are never around to help and when I ask him to give me a minute, they seem to get upset get mad cause I never see him again. I’d like to tell the manager, but I never see the manager. Every now and then I may see him if I make an order and he can’t find the girls that’s the only time I ever see the manager. But the food is good. I always order a pizza or I get the spaghetti, meatball garlic bread with cheese and the garden salad. I don’t know about the atmosphere cause I never stay. I’ve gone to multiple Barro’s locations. This one at the marketplace in Gilbert. Seems to be the only one that has this issue with the front of the house. I’ve gone to the one downtown Phoenix on Central & Virginia. I like the one in Indian band and Pima. The one in Tempe is really good. I’ve even gone to the one down in Casa grande. The other location I think is pretty good. Is the one on Greenway and 40th St. Oh I almost forgot about the location on 32nd St. and Indian school.“

“Barros has the best tasting pizza in the greater Phoenix area. I order there pizza to go. My order is always ready when I get there and the employees and managers treat you the way you like to be treated.During COVID we lived off of take out food and we lived off of there pizza's.“

“The staff here are absolutely phenomenal! I arrived 15 minutes before our pizza was ready and had to wait with my boys (ages 5 and 9) who were already feeling cranky. I was not anticipating waiting to be a pleasant experience. Fortunately, an employee was folding pizza boxes at the counter and my kids were fascinated. They asked to watch and she agreed, explaining the process along the way. When my boys asked if they could try, she said they could and coached them through the process. My kids ended up helping to fold boxes until our pizza was ready. Other employees popped in to help and monitor when the original employee had to answer the phone or help a customer. What would have been a miserable 15 minutes turned into a wonderful experience. My kids left the restaurant declaring that their first jobs would be at Barro’s. The bonus to all this is that the pizza was absolutely delicious. We will definitely go there again!“
