“The service was great even when it was busy . The food was okay, we had the Cajun shrimp and it was a bit watery/soupy and spicy with a lack of flavor. The shots were a bit over priced. It was still a fun place and the patio looked like a nice spot to enjoy.“

This is a great spot for some fun times and the setting is small enough to feel connected to your group. We did not try the food. Absolutely would visit again!“

“Our food was great (I had the Fringe Salad and my husband had the Clubhouse sandwich), we enjoyed eating outside with a partial view of the golf course, and our server was fantastic. The only thing that bothered us for a while was a couple of guys smoking cigars a couple tables away! Apparently they were allowed to do so, being more than 20 feet from the door. Perhaps that's the letter of the law...but it seemed very inappropriate to allow them to be smoking in the dining area of a Marriott-related location. Word to the wise, the sandwich is HUGE, and so it the basket of fries that you can order. Plan accordingly!“

“The duck, trout and lasagna was amazing. Our server wasn’t great, slow and forgot to put our dessert order in, but they comped us on the dessert it and it was great! Chef even came out to check on his. He is legit. Knows how to turn a plate. I’m going back.“

“We wanted to watch some football and have dinner and decided to try the Garanda Bar & Grill. It is a bit difficult to locate in the hotel as it is on the 4th floor and not above the lobby where you would expect it to be. Once we found it, the staff were excellent and took care of us right away. We tried the mushroom pizza and the meat lovers pizza. The crust was pretty good and there were lots of toppings but the pizzas were very salty (probably too much topping). Lots of TV's to watch football and the staff were very accommodating to find the games everyone wanted to watch.“

“Atmosphere and service were good. I had salmon that was delicious. My daughter had chicken potpie which was huge and she said tasted delicious but then she found a bone in it. They need to be more careful when deboning chicken. That could have been disastrous. We gave this a 4 because we know things happen in the kitchen.“

“This is one of my favorite locations to watch the sun set with vibrant desert colors while enjoying a charcuterie and queso board with a specialty cocktail or a glass of wine. Seating on the terrace is recommended, although there are high tops along the bar, and comfy seating by the fireplace for those cool desert nights.“

“When I booked the McCormick Scottsdale I was excited about the restaurant choices in the area. Well, I got in around lunchtime and decided to grab a quick bite here. A simple lunch on the beautifully scenic patio had me saying “Don’t sleep on Piñon Grill.” Then after an afternoon of being out and about, I decided to have dinner here. Both meals excellent, quality/flavorful food, perfectly prepared and presented. All at great prices. Those other places (all of which I have dined at) have nothing on this one. Oh and, I just had a wonderful breakfast! If I were a local, I would frequent Piñon Grill.“

“We came here in part to the photos from Google maps where it had shown a nice lit and outside eating area. We arrived on a Friday night at 6pm and that outdoor area wasn't even open. The inside is very small and was a little too bar scene than I expected. Now, the food was great. The bartender was amazing and both food and service are 5.0.“

With a very eclectic group of people always in there, it's a prime location to hang out with friends or make new ones when your there. Not to mention all the ladies behind the bar are fun fast and friendly!! Scottsdales version of cheers, where everyone knows your name and they are always glad you came!“
