“We stop by when we are in Scottsdale. Came in on a random Wednesday (7/9) afternoon, and to our delight the fabulous Patrick James Jr. was performing great country covers. There was a small crowd in the bar. The bartender (sorry, didn’t catch his name) was friendly and efficient. Seemed to be having a great time with his customers. We overheard him talking about the vault behind the bar. I love the decor, and the seating is comfortable. I’m sure it’s impossible to get a seat on Friday or Saturdays though! We only grabbed a drink here, so I can’t speak on the food. For the music, vibe and bartender, 10/10. We will visit again next time in Scottsdale!“

The atmosphere is cozy and unique, especially with the Christmas lights that stay up year-round, giving it a fun and welcoming vibe. Definitely a 5-star spot for bourbon lovers and anyone who enjoys a laid-back yet memorable experience.“

“I stopped in here for dinner Saturday night with some friends, after just getting back into town. We had Christiana(Christie) as our waitress for the night and thanks to her, our dinner experience was highly elevated!
The food was incredible(I had the cowboy bowl) but the service was on-time and professional. Christiana was very attentive to our needs, welcoming and had a high level of energy towards serving our group.

100% I will be back!

“We had a great experience. We came in for the $1 Smashburger and the $10 1942 margaritas and spent only about $24 for two burgers and two drinks—perfect for a simple date night. The burger was seasoned really well, which is rare for Scottsdale since a lot of places tone down the flavor, but this one actually had great taste and was definitely worth more than a dollar. The $10 Don Julio margaritas were also surprisingly good — you could actually taste the tequila and the flavor balance was on point. We originally stopped in just to try the specials before heading to another reservation, but now we're planning to come back for Wing Wednesday and to try more of the menu. The inside was beautiful and fully decorated in a Grinch/Christmas theme with movies playing and bartenders in Christmas pajamas. The whole place had a fun holiday vibe, which I loved. Service was great as well. Our server was young, sweet, and even told us about the Wednesday specials. Parking is limited, but we arrived early and were able to walk up from a nearby spot, so I'd recommend planning ahead or making a reservation unless you're sitting at the bar. Once we arrived, we were seated right away and our food came out quickly. Overall, we were really impressed and will definitely be back.“

“It was very fun tasting a variety of scotch. The ambiance was interesting and the man who did the tasting was amusing. I had previously done it with a host named Guy who wore a kilt and it was more entertaining. I thought they had snacks/food we could order, but did not, which was disappointing because this was a birthday celebration. Upon request, the host brought out some nuts,,,and we grabbed a burger afterwards. Overall....if you are looking for a unique experience and are a scotch lover....this is a good choice.“

“Firstly, the restaurant is in the back of the lobby of the Hilton Hotel. A little hard to find the first time out Nice atmosphere with plenty of alternative seating. Good bar menu. Service was great! Good was very good and portion size was excellent. We enjoyed the nachos and tacos. Onion soup was good but not great. They made sure my iced tea was always full. We will definitely go back and try some of the other menu items.“

“Hotel Valley Ho is exceptional in service and location. Can walk to Old Town Scottsdale for other dining and shopping but ZuZu Restaurant is spectacular. The staff and food, hotel and gym, spa was all great. My only "complaint" was getting enough sun at either pool. Difficult due to buildings blocking afternoon sun. Otherwise top notch!“

“Pub Rock is a KC Chiefs bar, but they are so friendly and accommodating, that I (a HUGH Buffalo Bills fan ❤️🦬💙) have made this my local spot to come for Happy Hours, Karaoke, and even NFL games. Such a fun crowd of people and awesome live music during the week and in the weekends.“

“The Thirsty Camel Lounge, essentially the hotel lobby bar at the Phoenix, was a great spot to grab a drink and some snacks during our stay. I appreciated how late the kitchen stayed open and the service we received was fantastic. Food ended up being only okay overall but the drinks were tasty.“

“Stopped in for a quick drink after some bowling with friends and this was a very nice spot pretty spacious very clean and service was pretty fast. My only complaint is that this business is strictly money only they do not take any cards but they do have a ATM on site.“

“This place is great. I’ve been coming here for 8 years. Great staff who don’t take guff from people with condescending attitudes. This just happened, a guy who obviously wasn’t a regular went in with a bunch of cans and was told he and the person he was with couldn’t walk in the establishment with them, like any bar would say, and the gave her attitude back as if he wasn’t the A-hole.

He said back douchily that there were no trash cans outside. There was a giant industrial bin outside where it always is. So not only was he an A-hole, he was a liar. They were kicked out. Love places that don’t take guff from jerks.“

“I really wanted to dance, but none of my friends were up for going out that night — so I decided to go edm clubbing alone for the first time. At first, it felt a bit awkward since most people were in groups. But one of the security staff (I wish I’d gotten his name — next time!!) completely turned my night around.
He kept an eye out for me the entire evening and even invited me to stand behind the DJ booth. Even though I came alone, he made me feel like I wasn’t. He was genuinely kind and just an all-around AWESOME human being!!!

If you’re a solo female thinking of going — don’t hesitate. These are good people. I felt safe, welcomed, and really glad I went.“

“Stopped by here at 7am on a Sunday to ask for jumper cables to jump my scooter battery. There weren't any so me and my dog ended up staying while we waited for my mom. The staff was nice they gave him water and a slimjim and a patron shared their chips with him. He had a great time and everyone loved his Dallas cowboy jersey. I normally wouldn't drink on a Sunday, but this (I'm almost sure of it) would definitely be a bar our lord would unwind in. An over indulged couple arguing about which wataburger is the best, while a man in a ICP shirt sings louder than the jukebox speakers to the the tune of John Legends All Of Me. The nearly packed bar seemed to enjoy it and even joined it at some parts, even waking up the tired and filling them with inspiration; a là church if you will. This unexpected yet familiar place nearly made me forget it was only 7am on a Sunday and me and my dog still needed to drive my scooter home. I will definitely return for more of the unexpected, and so will my dog…for the chips and slimjims of course.

You’ll want to personally compliment the general manager Austin on the incredible selection of whiskey - He found my favorite Coal Ila scotch up on the top shelf behind other bottles! We enjoyed outdoor patio seating with a beautiful view of the DC ranch plaza“

“We wanted to watch some football and have dinner and decided to try the Garanda Bar & Grill. It is a bit difficult to locate in the hotel as it is on the 4th floor and not above the lobby where you would expect it to be. Once we found it, the staff were excellent and took care of us right away. We tried the mushroom pizza and the meat lovers pizza. The crust was pretty good and there were lots of toppings but the pizzas were very salty (probably too much topping). Lots of TV's to watch football and the staff were very accommodating to find the games everyone wanted to watch.“
