“food was delicious the location is very well decorated and everything looks so upscale decorated. the best part was our service we received from Linda hands down the best server we have encountered in quite a while. she was so nice very pleasant and great service all around. you have a customer for life and will recomend her and the Restaurant with all my friends and family“

Spicy miso ramen with butter
Tonkatsu ramen with black garlic oil
Takoyaki
Beef bulgogi
Veggie egg rolls
Fried squid legs
Pan fried gyoza
Saki bomb
Let’s start off with the appetizers. We got a free thing of veggie eggrolls due to them miss hearing one of our friends and thought we ordered it. It was nothing special though it tasted like the typical frozen mushy type wasn’t very good. Disappointed on the takoyaki I had just one small piece of octopus inside of it and it was just all batter. Probably some of the worst type I’ve had. The fried squid legs. Were good can’t really mess that up unless you mess the batter up pretty badly lol the Gyoza was very fresh tasting and had the perfect amount of crunch for pan fried now the tonkatsu ramen not the best in az but it was good not oily broth more thicker nooodles more on the thinner side and the pork was tender and egg made to the perfect softness for that gooey inside the beef bulgogi plate combo was good you can’t really mess up Bulgogi so it tasted like any other Bulgogi. I had definitely didn’t expect it to be so small though especially with how much you’re paying I pay for less for way more at other places and they give me a good amount of onions on the bottom this place I barely got any onions underneath, and it was just all burnt on the bottom. So half of my onions were just stuck to the bottom and I couldn’t get them off. The side dishes, though these are some of my favorite side dishes I’ve had at a Korean spot in Arizona. Super sucks because I would only wanna come back for the kimchi side dishes, but didn’t really enjoy the food to an extreme amount to justify driving 30 minutes back and price , some items are a bit pricey, but most of the items are priced at the same as other places I’ve been but you get way less I really did like their kimchi, though it really was some of the best but man so far and nothing I’d want from that menu entree wise so I think it’s worth checking out but I can’t justify coming back“

“Nice food and very accommodating“

“We stopped in yesterday and had a good experience, but what really stood out was Mason, the young man working behind the bar. We found out it was actually his first day, and he was friendly, helpful, and did a great job.

After we paid our bill and left, I accidentally left my credit card behind. About two blocks later, Mason came running after us to make sure he got it back to me. That kind of honesty and effort deserves to be recognized—especially from someone on his very first day.

Thank you, Mason! The management should know they hired a good one.“

“My daughter and her husband were in town for a business meeting. She wanted sushi, I thought he might like a steak, and I'm vegetarian. She picked a sushi restaurant close to their hotel but when I checked the menu there wasn't much for a vegetarian. I found Sushi Sen with lots of options for each of us. ❤ Nice restaurant, delicious food for all. The Ginger Tofu was soft and flavorful!! I will definitely be back to try more selections!!“

“Best Ramen, so delicious! Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and overall awesome. Kyle helped my kids open their Japanese sodas and gave them a tutorial on how to use their chopsticks. When my 10-year-old still couldn’t manage the sticks, he brought her a plastic tool to help her practice. The Cut rolls came out fast and were delicious. We had a great experience as a family and will definitely be back!“

“I think it's simply my favorite restaurant in Tempe. The Ramen is excellent, but I'm addicted to the egg bowls. I think I've tried everything on the menu at this point, and I can confidently say you literally can't go wrong here. The owner and his family are all wonderful people as well, just a pleasure to stop in and chat with over a bowl of Ramen.“

“Came for lunch and me and my husband both had Ramen. I had the Curry Ramen and mu husband had the Azusa Black. Both were very delicious! We aren't local, but came up from Tucson and had time to kill while our daughter attended a dance camp. We will be back next time we are in town!“

Great music and a couple of different seating areas! It’s not too loud and the music that is played are calming instrumentals (no pop music)! It’s low enough to where you can hear the person in front of you clearly, while also at a volume in which it’s easy to tune other customers out.

Yuka was my server the first time I came here and she was wonderful as well! She even took the time to explain something of the Japanese words and characters to my husband and I. (He’s learning Japanese).
Serdan was my server this time around and he’s great! He’s very friendly and brought everything out to me asap!
Overall, the entire staff is so friendly. I didn’t get her name, but I asked if I would be able to move table on my solo trip this time around and she made it happen! Thank you! (She had red glasses).

Tasted like my childhood noodle spot that I used to go with my mom while we lived in Japan. Incredible flavor and a lot for what you’re paying for!

SUPER affordable and budget friendly! I went by myself and my check came out to $18! That’s including drink!

Extra notes:
Vegetarian options abundant and made very clear. The only thing (from what I believe was told last time) is that the broths that are used, are not fully vegetarian. So if that’s something that might not be best for you, don’t worry! They have other noodle dishes and even non noodle dishes that have absolutely no meat in them at all.
They also have a GREAT dessert variety to choose from. I was so so tempted to get the tiramisu—even though I haven’t had it, I’m sure it’s incredible.

Give this place a go if you’re into great atmospheres ramen, and friendly service!“

“If you are craving immensely flavorful spicy hot ramen, look no further than DARUMA Sushi/Roll/Noodle. This is by far one of the best spicy ramens we have had in town. The broths are so rich and hearty, the spiciness adds to the flavor experience and doesn't burn a hole through your stomach, the meats melt in your mouth, and the noodles are the right texture and density, everything about the ramen experience is flawless.

The crispy rice with spicy tuna and the fire rolls were wonderful compliments to our meal, but the real standout offering here is the ramen for sure. The green tea was expertly prepared and had an authentic flavor, no tea bags here, they used actual green tea powder.

The service was extremely quick and all of our servers were so very friendly. Our ramen actually came out before our appetizers, which is not a complaint at all especially since the ramen is the star of the show.

If you are craving ramen of any kind, especially spicy ramen, this is definitely the place you need to come to so that you fully satisfy that craving. We had a fabulous experience here and we will definitely be back for more as this is now our favorite ramen spot in the greater Phoenix area.“

“Girlfriend and I stopped by tonight, super cute little spot! We loved their late night reverse happy hour. Our server was friendly and great, the food was delicious! Only slight feedback we have is that it was VERY bright in there which killed the ambiance a bit. They have cool dim lights and purple lights in there, I hope they can dim the bright lights and really make it a cool vibe! We will be back.“

“Got Uber eats from Silverlake Ramen today. It came quickly and neatly packaged, which I loved, however, portion of soup 🍜 was much smaller than it is on location, liquid barely filled the bowl it was brought in , Leaving clients with the impression that unless we go in person to Silverlake Ramen, (Which is a cool location in general ) should probably just skip it :( -“

“I’m a Japanese person living in Arizona, and I really appreciate having a place like this nearby where I can get relatively affordable, authentic Japanese food.

I usually order the katsudon, which is consistently satisfying. The ramen is a bit overcooked for my taste compared to what you would expect in Japan, so I always request the noodles to be cooked firm when ordering.

The atmosphere is also very nice and photogenic, which makes it a good spot for dates as well.“
