This place is pretty good. I usually get the salad. It's pretty expensive, though. Almost $20 for salad and drink, but it's a big enough salad to make at least 2 meals for me, and I chose steak which is a $2 upcharge. They have horchata here and it's pretty good. It's a chain so expect chain quality, but good flavor. The place is clean and so is the restroom. The only thing I didn't like is the restroom has a code but no lock inside. So, there's barge-in potential.
I have been in the Cafe Rio in Camelback, food is good but the service is bad, they seem to be always in bad mood, like they are making you a favor. The one in Baseline is the same, but the tortilla were cold and stiff. Plus the charge you for every single ingredients. This was my experience, I see they treat white people better. Might be my perspective, I don't know, but other cheaper restaurants treat me better as a client.

I live close by and I constantly come here. I understand “off days” but I’ve had multiple orders over multiple days with issues. Salads are supposed to come with guacamole but it’s constantly missing in my orders.Today I wanted to give their new bowls a try and I noticed the avocado corn salsa was missing after I left.. Food is great but check your bag before you leave!! This location is known for skipping ingredients.
