“This was my first time in Phoenix and I had a blast. First thing that morning I went for breakfast. I was the first customer at 7am. I decided on the freshman breakfast with vegan sausage. It was incredible! The eggs were fluffy and so buttery. The home fries were so well seasoned that I didn't even need ketchup. This was the first time I've been offered vegan sausage as a replacement. It was delightful. I absolutely love this spot. It is without a doubt one of the best eateries in the area! #ashsaidit“

“We are in town from Washington and have nothing but great things to say about Thirsty Lion. We went in for happy hour and bought 5 appetizers ( fried spicy cauliflower was our fav) . Multiple drinks. The waitress Karlie was a huge highlight of our visit, very friendly and knowledgeable. Never an empty drink or dirty plate on the table. You could tell she enjoys her job. We will be back whenever we are in town.“

“An incredible tradionally styled ramen shop! An incredibly friendly atmosphere was present the second I walked through the door. I had the house special tonkotsu ramen with all toppings, and when asked I decided to get medium spiciness (which was definitely within the Japanese standard of spice, which might be lower than you're used to if you have a lot of Mexican food like I do). The noodles were a perfect texture and taste, the broth was the perfect mix of savory with the richness tonkotsu is known for. The toppings like pickled ginger and black fungus added a delightful acidity.

I also had a side of a pork katsu bowl, which was absolutely delightful and was an excellent mild compliment to the diverse flavors of the house ramen.

This is my new local ramen shop and I couldn't be happier with the quality of food and service.“

“Went here for the first time in almost 20 years and to my pleasant surprise it is almost unchanged. It's a perfect laid back little hole in the wall. The menu is limited but the achiote seasoned roast chicken the accompanying sides are pitch perfect. The only take cash but there is an ATM next door.“

To say the food was amazing is an understatement. I was shocked at how gluten friendly they are, even to the point of having a dedicated oven for the gluten-free pizza us. My friend was overwhelmed with all the amazing options, and absolutely loved that she could pick whatever she wanted. We had the focaccia bread, the bacon, mac & cheese, and the fungi Florentine pizza. Dessert we tried the apple crisp and the tiramisu, both are which are gluten-free. The food was incredible. “I love going to the Cornish Pasty Co any chance I get. It was a favorite when I lived in the East Valley. All of the pasties are delicious. But make sure to save room for the caramel apple pasty, I promise you won't regret it! I only disappointment is that they don't have a far West Valley location. I miss them living in Surprise.“

“My husband and I always order the Chicago Pizza, and it's consistently delicious and cooked to perfection every time we visit. Tonight, we branched out and tried the artichoke dip, which was fantastic as well. We shared dinner with family, and they thoroughly enjoyed everything too. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive—and the food arrived quickly, piping hot and fresh. While the acoustics can make the space a bit noisy, it's a minor trade-off for such a great dining experience. We highly recommend Spinato's and will definitely be back!“
