“We live super close to licks and I love to always try a different flavor and there custom milkshakes are so good also, if you look to the right of the fridge and between the lounge area on the wall there’s a menu for a bunch of different types of ice cream like one is a peanut butter sorta vibe ice cream cone and also another amazing thing is there staff they are always so friendly, I highly recommend this if your driving by or if you are eating dinner somewhere near I definitely recommend stopping by.“

The pizza is to die for and the pan seared chicken and tomato cream sauce is a fave. Her chicken Alfredo is some of the best Alfredo sauce and pasta dishes out there. And they have scrumptious vegan and vegetarian options and Zoodles!! Who doesn't love zucchini noddles?!? They do great takeout also but dining in for a quiet intimate dinner is always fun. Make reservations and just take the grownups.“

Instead, they decided to go with a macaron tower, but where to get it made? We discovered that Woops and the wonderful Ellie could produce such a masterpiece. “This popcorn is good, but be careful of the chili one! They sprinkle it with Hatch green chili powder and we can’t eat it , it is too hot and the powder gets up in your nasal passages and throat . “Take it from this Chicago girl- this is great pizza. I ordered thin crust sausage and pepperoni and it was delicious! Hot and flavorful. My friend who is gluten free ordered the gluten free crust with vegan cheese and she was pleasantly impressed with how good it tasted. Highly recommend!“

“Wow! If you're looking for vegan, vegetarian, or a healthy option for a meal look no further than Flower Child. What a special place and I'm glad I found it on my most recent trip to Tucson. The menu options will cater to those looking for an escape from the usual burgers and boring salads that other places offer. Boring is NOT in the menu at Flower Child!! There is much to discover, enjoy, and feel good about here. My next trip to Tucson will be here before you know it. I'll be making another visit to Flower Child and sampling more of the creative, delicious options it offers.“

There are a lot of options depending on dietary preferences or restrictions: gluten free buns, grass fed beef available, and tons of toppings available. I love the local iced tea and the Maine Root sodas. If you have been there years ago when the service was a little slow, just know that was in the past. I waited 3 minutes for a hot, fresh burger tonight that was awesome.“

“Delicious arepas. I don’t eat meat and usually the veg option at trucks that do not specialize in veg/vegan food is just so so. I just had the veggie arepa and it was so full of flavor. I have no idea what they marinade the vegetables in but it’s so nice to have a veg meal that isn’t an afterthought. My husband had the machada arepa and was similarly impressed. I would love to have another but I’m full :) Great food. Fast service. Follow these folks around town.“
