“Fantastic! There were 4 of us, everyone had a different meal, and everyone loved it. I had the rack of lamb and my wife had the pork shank pasta, they were both amazing and the prices seemed quite low to me for the quality of food.“

“I've been, a customer of Barro's for a few years now. And this Cortaro location is amazing the service is good and friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant and the location, is great right next to the movie theater now.

The food is good and I recommend this to all my family and friends as a family friendly location. And thankfully a large Ploice presence from our boys in blue, the Marana Police Department, you'll see uniforms for lunch breaks all the time.

The other veggie sandwiches are also good and can be modified vegan (avocado instead of cheese, sometimes I add the dressing from the shawarma, etc) but the quality sometimes varies when making substitutions“

For food, we ordered burgers, and they were really good—juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The atmosphere was perfect for unwinding after golf, and the service was great too.

“This popcorn is good, but be careful of the chili one! They sprinkle it with Hatch green chili powder and we can’t eat it , it is too hot and the powder gets up in your nasal passages and throat . It burns, hurts and makes you cough!! Will not be buying that flavor anymore. If they added to the Carmel popcorn 🍿 I might give it another try.“

“I can’t say enough good things about this place. The moment you walk in, you’re magically transported out of the city and into the sweetest little patio oasis. Jo herself has greeted me at the door before, which tells you everything about the level of care here; her attentiveness is so rare these days.

The atmosphere is dreamy: lush plants everywhere, a peaceful koi pond, and even Lucky the cat making the rounds like the unofficial host. I’ve only been on nights with live music, but wow; what a treat. The musicians they bring in are phenomenal.

The drinks and food are just as impressive—beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. I’ve been telling everyone I know about this place because spots like this are special.

There are a lot of options depending on dietary preferences or restrictions: gluten free buns, grass fed beef available, and tons of toppings available. I love the local iced tea and the Maine Root sodas. If you have been there years ago when the service was a little slow, just know that was in the past. I waited 3 minutes for a hot, fresh burger tonight that was awesome.“
