KUKAI is a delightful restaurant serving delicious sushi, ramen, and katsu chicken curry. The fresh salmon and eel sauce sushi was a favorite, while the broth for the ramen was top-notch. The staff is friendly and the area is lovely, with cute shops and a farmers market nearby. The bluefin tuna hand roll was delicious, as was the Mt. Fuji Don. Although the unagi onigiri had mostly rice, the overall experience was positive. Despite a wait during busy hours, exploring the shops in the complex made the visit enjoyable. A return trip to try more menu options is definitely on the cards.
