“I only got to try the torta and blueberry lemonade but both were amazing. Can’t wait to come back to try each of the tacos. The pineapple salsa was incredible. I recommend this spot to anyone and everyone. Plus the owner Raul was super cool. 10/10 for this place.“
“I caved tacos for breakfast and I was not disappointed. This place opened at 7 AM. I ordered carne asada street tacos on corn tortillas. The salsa bar had nice options to top my tacos. I also had some horchata. SOOOOOO gooooood. I'll be going back soon.“
“The tacos are always good. I like the salsa bar. They have grilled onions and roasted jalapeños too! My favorite taco is the al pastor. I had a horchata this time, and it was sweet. The music is always fun and upbeat. I usually find plenty of seating. Parking is also spacious. It's a kid/family friendly environment.I've never had a bad experience here. I highly recommend! They have a discount on tacos on Tuesdays and you can order online. Past experiences with online ordering have been great too. My food is always on time.Kid-friendliness: Great place for the family. I usually bring my kids' tablet in case she gets bored, but we usually enjoy the music. The music is loud, though, so if you have sleeping babies, it could wake them up.“
“Out on lunch with the team before gettin at the mission for the day.. these La Tortilla was recommended by one of my teammates and it did not disappoint!!! Ms Audrey was super hospitable and the food did not take as long as we anticipated. Fresh, hot, cheese still melting as you bite into it!! This is definitely a lunch spot rotation contender amongst the boys! 8.7/10“
“It's Taco Tuesday and I just want to say that I have found the BEST tacos! These are amazing tacos and the best I have had! I found this place on Yelp awhile back and just haven't had the chance to go yet, but did today. This is a food truck called Lost Burro and they are usually at this location, 83rd and Peoria Ave. It's not in Surprise, but a close and short drive. We had the quesabirria tacos, carne asada/steak tacos, al pastor taco, smoked beef taco, and shrimp tacos. The carne asada tacos were SO flavorful! They come with an avocado crema that's awesome. My husband said the al pastor was the best he has had! They had pickled pineapple on them. I also had the shrimp tacos and I loved them SO MUCH! They look spicy with their coloring and spices, but they were pretty mild. They also had walnuts on them, which I thought gave them a nice crunch. The quesabirria tacos were delicious! We also had refried beans (I forgot to take a pic) and I liked them; they have a little spice and kick. My husband got the strawberry horchata and he said it was so tasty and refreshing! I thought it was really cute how they presented it. The smoked beef taco is so interesting and something I haven't seen before but it was delicious as well. These are the best damn tacos! They alsp have other things on the menu, like burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and other stuff. The customer service was great and they checked on us multiple times and helped us with the menu since we were new. I keep thinking about them and am already planning my return. You will not be disappointed! Lost Burro Food Truck 8340 W Peoria Ave, Peoria, AZ 85345“
“Got a carne asada burrito and she Reccomended a Crispy Tripe taco, which came out fantastic, great customer service, reccomendations we're on point. Music was fire, price was good for the amount of food. Fantastic hole in the wall type spot“
“**Tacolicioso Food Truck: A Feast for the Senses**Tacolicioso stands as a culinary highlight in the city, a place where I find myself drawn to weekly for their standout dishes: carne asada nachos and vampire tacos. The nachos are a symphony of flavors, with tender carne asada and rich, gooey cheese atop crispy chips, creating an unforgettable bite. The vampire tacos, with their crispy cheese shell and succulent filling, are nothing short of a masterpiece, showcasing Tacolicioso's flair for innovative Mexican cuisine. The atmosphere at Tacolicioso matches the excellence of their food - vibrant, friendly, and utterly welcoming. It's not just a meal; it's an experience, enriched by the warmth of the staff who make every visit special. For anyone craving authentic Mexican flavors with a creative twist, Tacolicioso is a must. It’s more than food; it’s a celebration of culinary artistry that keeps you coming back for more.“
“I’ll be dreaming of these tacos every day for the rest of my life. Let’s taco bout it. (See what I did there?) if you know me or read my reviews there’s three things I could live on forever. Tacos of course, Pho and Cold Brew. There are a couple taco spots I frequent, but I always listen for new places to check out. If they’re local I definitely have to come and support. My daughter and I were in the mood for some Quesa Birria tacos so I looked around to see what my options were near El Mirage since we were in the area supporting another local spot. My eyes instantly saw Calizona and I knew this was where we were headed. I’ve heard great things and I’m honestly surprised I hadn’t stopped yet since our favorite butcher shop/market for asada and such is so close. I followed the directions and knew where to stop when I saw the red truck. The lot it is parked in is small, but there was decent parking. I can see it filling up quick. It is located in front of a busy tire shop. As I stated it is a food truck so there is no inside seating. There is however multiple tables with tent cover. Each table has a cooler with salsa to keep cold. The menu is simple and so many tasty options. After a few questions we went with six quesa Birria tacos which to my surprise free consommé because we ordered more than three. We ended up with two consommé which was more than enough even with my daughter dunking those tacos like her life depended on it ha ha. Let me tell you if you could win a taco contest on looks and smell alone they’d win every time. Presentation was on point, some lemons topped a few and oh man from the first bite to the last we couldn’t get enough. The flavor was fantastic. The consommé kicked it up to a whole new level and the toppings fresh. We arrived around 1pm so it wasn’t too busy; just a few other people. Service was good and the cashier gave us some salsa containers to fill to take our food with us. It was a bit cold so while we did take it to go we sat and ate it in the car. Make sure you grab plenty of napkins because those juices run wild. Salsa options had a good kick. I already am planning our next visit to bring back more family and try the rest of the menu. If you’re a lover of Birria then run don’t walk. This is definitely a piece of taco heaven in the much needed west valley!Parking: Small lot so at busy times can be tougher to find a place to park, but so worth it!“
“This was a 10/10 experience. They were some of the best quesabirria tacos I've ever had. Meat was well cooked. Consume was amazing. Beans were pretty good too. Best part was all the free toppings they had including cabbage, onion, cilantro, pickled onions, radish, lime and salsas. Service was helpful and food came out extremely quick.“
“It can always be stressful trying to find a caterer when you are out of state, but Juan was such a delight to work with from the beginning! He catered my son's baby shower for 50 people and the food and service were exceptional and within budget!! I would definitely use Taco Head again! Thank you Juan!“
“We had Taqueria El Sol out for an Art Market at Ground Floor Artists is Surprise, AZ (non profit Art Organization) and they were FANTASTIC all around.Wonderful customer service, extremely professional yet personal, great follow through and it was so easy to schedule them to be at our event. The food was top notch and all our shoppers/patrons raved about all the food. Thank you so much for being so wonderful. We will recommend Taqueria El Sol to all our friends and for all our and our friends events!“
“Best tacos in the us for sure. The meat was incredible. Arizona has a lot of tacos but none more authentic than this. The ambiance says it all. Some of my favorite songs came on. The staff was INCREDIBLY NICE. I felt like family. Can I come back every day?“
“Nice spot to grab a quick and delicious Mexican dish. Staff is super nice & the owners are AMAZING! Quaint environment that has many traditional dishes but also offers hyped up versions too. To summarize, yummy recipes for super reasonable prices. It is a great place to take friends & family for a good little...or big meal to remind you of family get-togethers. Very nostalgic & leaves you wanting to come back for more. Me & my family love it - hope you ENJOY too!“
“I came for Taco Tuesday 3/$7 tacos ... They did not disappoint. This is your standard taco joint. Allowed me to get 1 of each kind of meat they offered (great service), each kind tasted delicious. Salsa/condiment bar fully stocked. My only critique/challenge - and this is for any of the 10,000 taco places in Arizona - why not make a homemade different kind of salsa? If there is so much competition, a unique salsa could be a game changer.“
“We used to always go to a different Mexican food place on the weekends, but there prices sky rocketed so we decided to try something new. It was definitely the right pick! There food is delicious, there employees work very hard and has only once got our order wrong but we also asked for a complex order. My wife actually stopped her diet to have joes tacos which really shows how great this place is! Something you guys should definitely try out!“
“If you're looking for a new mexican spot, then this one is it. I ordered the Burro Tatemado, and it was delicious ?. The only thing is they didn't add enough cheese to the burro. Place was packed the two times I went (and yes, I ordered the same thing both times). I just wanted to confirm my recommendation. The place is clean and the staff is nice. A good little spot to end a Friday or Saturday. Please let me know what you think. I will be back and will make sure to take pictures for you visual lovers like me.“
“So food is good, service is also good, atmosphere is a bit confusing, it's inside a mechanical shop property, 1 entrance and exit and limited parking. I came here on Sunday and was all good until the check came out. I ordered 2 tacos day special, 9 regular tacos, 5 natural water, and a baked potato. I paid $130.50, not including the tip. I think price was a little high for what I got. So if you going to eat here be careful what you order.Parking: There's only about 8 parking spots“
“Love this Place,Music was just right, it added to the cool atmosphere wish had more time but next time I come in to town will stop again and again.FoodGood temperature fresh and very autocrítica.I had Tacos al Pastor, they were so good I had to try different one. I order 2 more tacos and Beans with carne asada and it was super delicious.Talk to the manager( super cool guy) and was informed that they are Tijuana style tacos, the corn tortillas are corn not just colored. Highly recommend the orchard 9.3DiningDining area was very clean specious and very countable.High chairs available, extra tables outsideParking.Lots of parking wheel chair parking available they sit in a corner area so you will find extra parking on the back.AccessEasy on and of freeway and right on Route 60Don’t. “Cute, clean, fast, and tasty! I was in the area and minutes from hitting hangry so stopped for some tacos. The restaurant is really cute with plenty of seating. I didn't want to grab a photo as it was busy with people eating -- a great sign for almost 3pm on a Sunday! I got 2 carne asade tacos and added guac salsa and pico at the loaded salsa bar. I will definitely try all the salsas next time! The tacos were great and fast! They also have birria tacos and consomme, quesadillas in 2 sizes, and you can choose flour or corn tortillas on most items. Definitely worth stopping in! In fact, as we were walking up and discussing checking it out, a guy walking by told us it was great!“
“I drive 30 minutes to this location! The other places like "Sushinola roll", "sir sushi" do not compare to this place!!!! I live 3 minutes from Señor Sushi and Sushinola and I still prefer to drive 30 minutes or more and come to Sushi and Tacos del Valle because it's worth it!!!! The other places don't even come close to this place!!!Thank you,Gerardo Jaramillo“
“The birria tacos and cheese quesadillas were the best we’ve had! I also had a banana smoothie and it was phenomenal. I really wish we had gotten a picture of our food but we couldn’t wait to eat it! We will be coming here a lot more often in the future.“
“For been just him and his mom I think Its been the best tacos I have ever eat me been from Mexico DF so I know how a taco show it tastes and this has been the best I don't even have words to explain how great they are u need to twisted for u“
“Delicious! My first time here, and I ordered three different tacos: the original, vampiro, and the toasted. My favorite was the vampiro. There was a bit of a wait after ordering, but it was 6:45 at the height of dinner hour. It was worth it.“
“This place is great and I love their food. The only thing that bugs me is there is a chemical taste in the water and fountain sodas. I thought it was maybe the ice at first so asked for the drink with no ice. I wish they could figure out what causes the chemical taste and get rid of it lol.“
“I wanted to take a moment and give an amazing review!! Since me and my family have found this little truck we cannot get enough!! Great tacos, burritos, quesadillas and we have had the pastor, omg so delicious shrimp, asada, and suadero!!! Salsa is great also and they have a good amount of seats if you want to eat there.“
“Everything was immaculate, from the food, the service and the overall setting. I cannot stress how significantly incredible this place is. I was genuinely surprised this place didn't have a high volume of costumers, as more people should choose Tacos Rojo's as one of, if not, THE spot to enjoy an excellent, worthwhile meal. Definitely coming back here again ? ?“
“SOOOO GOOD! I got the birria vampiros and omg they're so good! My autistic 2 year old has refused eating tacos his whole life until I was eating these and he casually came over and started eating them out of my hand. I was flabbergasted and had to come leave a blazing positive review. They're really that good!“
“This food truck in the middle of a parking lot produces some of the best food I've had in this part of the valley. Their menu is simple - birria, carne asada and pollo primarily, but everything I've had so far has been excellent. So tasty! The birria is the specialty and it is outstanding. Highly recommend this place.“
“Highly recommend Let's Taco Bout Us! We had them out to cater my daughters HS graduation party for about 50 people. Yvonne and Ramon provided delicious food that all of our guests raved about, and wonderful service with a smile! We would definitely hire them again and will be on the lookout for where they will be around town also. Thank you so much!!“
“Boycott any of the Bertos' joints, come try this place.Pros: Home made food! I CAN'T EXPRESS THAT ENOUGH.I got the California Burrito, Carne Asada Fries and the 5 Rolled Beef Tacos. The meat is not fatty and cheap like at other Bertos' locations. Deliciously seasoned and spiced. The rolled tacos aren't small microwaveable lookalikes, instead they're sizeable and filling. Their Salsa bar is delightful as well (He wasn't kidding about that red sauce oooowee). Most importantly, above their delicious home made cooking, their prices are outstandingly low and affordable.Cons: More like minor inconveniences...They do not have a drive through, so yes you'll need to get out of your vehicle and actually go in (oh no).Small hole in the wall, but wasn't busy. Potential for seating to be limited, but not in my experience.Home made cooking, means slightly longer wait time but your patience will be rewarded with delicious food.10/10 recommend. Try it out. They're not getting the business they deserve!Ps. Fortune cookie is for size comparison.“
“Small taco place that has the absolute best food of any Mexican food place within miles. All of the food is very fresh, not expensive, and delicious. The place is spotlessly clean, and they are very nice people too. If you are picky about your food like I am, then Taqueria Tuc-son is without question your best choice. You won't be sorry, only if you don't go!“
“We are OBSESSED with this place!! Highly recommend! It is our new favorite spot on the west side as we have been looking for a good burrito place and have had no luck. This one outshines anything else over here! The tortillas are fresh, the ingredients are well cooked, the seasoning -- perfect! We love their breakfast burritos, queso (soooo good), chips, and salsa! Their sauces actually have spice and are perfect flavor!“
“Really unique inside. You order from a camper area for food and drinks at the bar. Inside and outside seating. We had tacos, nachos and kids loved it as well. Drinks were great, staff super friendly. Highly recommend for couples or families!“
“Don't be deterred that this place is in a hotel, it is worth checking out. The menu isn't huge, which I like, and has a great variety. The beers on tap are a great selection and I found a new favorite. Remember when potato skins were the cool appetizer? The Totchos should now be considered the cool appetizer. I went with the recommended fish tacos and they were impossible to put down. He went with the Pepper Jack Lucy, which was the monthly special ($7.99). After dinner we played some pinball and that was a lot of fun, we'll bring quarters next time! They have great specials each day so definitely come in when you get a chance.“
“My husband Bryan G and I ordered a couple of street carne asada tacos on Sunday, January 14, 2023, and they were good.I heard of this place from my husband Bryan. He was an ASM at Kohls and said this was the restaurant to go to for tacos! The restaurant was not busy at all. Looked pretty spacious. The front could use some cleaning, and the chairs should be stored elsewhere. I would recommend their tacos. We will definitely stop by again and try other dishes.“
“It’s a truck that’s been there for a while. Have tried them before but got a burrito this time. Carne Asada with everything plus a coke. $16 was a bit much for a the meal but it was filled with meat and pretty damn good. Actually better than I expected but what the price reflected. Overall good food , so was worth it to me.“
“We phoned in our order and arrived on time. But they didn't get the order started until we arrived, because they were so busy. So know ahead of time that you will be waiting to get your food. However, know ahead of time that you are going to love your food. The quesadillas are amazing AND the tacos are so unique and delicious! I am not a fan of cilantro, so they made my food without this spice. However, my family loves cilantro and they loved their food as well! If you're truly NOT in a hurry, make this your next taco stop. You will love their unique take on a delicious taco!“
“Hubby and I were late night hungry, we came across this food truck and pulled in about 20 minutes before closing, they were happy to have us and we were happy they were still open. Great food, great service and we love that we felt no rush to leave and were left to enjoy our meal even though they were in the process of closing. We will be coming back again!! (ps... we were a little shocked, however, as it was $73 for 10 street tacos and a couple of drinks) ??“
“After Juan’s Mexican Food on Thomas and 16th street closed down. This is where I come for the best hardshell shredded beef tacos. The prices are great, the food quality is 9/10 great flavor and made fresh to order. I've tried mostly everything on the menu, so far, I haven't found any item I dislike. My favorite item is the California Burrito. The best one I've had hands down, no competition.Parking: Small parking lot, spaces are limited. Tight area. Check your car for damage when leaving.“
“I walked in and was first impressions are bad... the food.. in my opinion was great. The style of food they serve is culturally supposed to be served with salsa to complete the flavor. Ended up being a permanent diner there the birria is good and the burritos are the best.Let me tellyou about burritos though...Nornally you get meat guac and lick in a tortilla and they charge you 12.99But these are filled with sustinance. They come with rice and beans and cheese instead of the guac and picoThis makes the burrito picky eater friendly no veggies can be seenThen the salsa conpletes the burrito as you pour it on top and my god the burrito is justiceHard ti find a place that makes burritos with rice ans beans included in the base burrito“
“We went with the chorizo burrito, tripas taco, carne asada taco, and pastor taco. The chorizo burrito started a heated debate in our house. I thought it was one of the best chorizos I've ever tried. Perfectly spiced not too much like you will get at other places. Their red salsa and a little bit of ketchup were amazing on it. My lady friend thought it needed more oregano and chili powder. The tripas was absolutely fantastic not as crunchy and fried as I normally get it. But I think I may like it better the way this place serves it. Pastor had a good char and was tasty. Would absolutely get it again. I was a little disappointed in the asada. Was not our favorite at all. No real seasoning to it, and kinda mushy.“
“Best deal in town if you're looking for Mexican food. You've probably noticed all the hottest burrito joints are all charging something like $15 for a single burrito. No side of rice or beans, just a simple burrito. Not señor burrito. This is easily hands down my favorite place to get some Mexican take out. The prices are reasonable, yet the portions are huge. Monster burritos. Sorta thing you need after a long day at work when you're too exhausted to go home and cook a meal. For me personally it's the Diablo shrimp burrito. Everyone boasts that they have a spicy burrito but it's always a letdown in the actual spice or flavor department. Whatever they're putting in that Diablo sauce is fire. I don't care what the repercussions are the next morning when I wake up and have to sit on the porcelain throne, I'm always asking for a little extra Diablo sauce. It ties so well with the shrimp and rice. I hope they come up with more menu items that incorporate that sauce. The location itself is in a comfy part of town, and considering they make all the food from scratch service is very fast. Shout out to the guy working the window, he's always super cool and we talk cars almost every time I pull up.“
“Service started great. After a while we didn't see the server for 10-20 minutes multiple times. We were there for 3 hours and the wait added an extra 45 minutes to our stay and kept us from going to our next function. Also one dish was wrong twice. That shouldn't happen. It was an easy request.“
“I'm not going to use the word "amazing" like so many restaurant reviewers do, but our Easter lunch here was pretty good. The one who took it to another level though, was our server, Kyndra. What a sweetheart! The place was very busy and she seemed to be keeping up with all her tables just fine, and was very attentive and kind to us. Firebirds definitely has value in employees like her. The atmosphere inside is loud and a bit congested, with a good number of tables uncomfortably close to one another. We felt like we were sitting with other people in a place that isn't that big to begin with. Not to be helped, but it was on the cold side that day so there was plenty of drafts as both doors were constantly opening. As for the food, the Roasted Garlic Sirloin and Durango Burger were both grilled perfectly and had great flavor. The loaded potato was too loaded (believe it of not) with enough cheese for two potatoes. So much cheese is was barely melted. The Chicken Tortilla soup was very rich and flavorful. And in the end, Kyndra was so kind as to serve my birthday girl two small servings of their Creme Brulee Cheesecake that was pretty close to "amazing" as it beats anything Cheesecake Factory serves. May just stop in for dessert sometime. And lastly, just a shout out to Kyndra for completing our Easter Sunday lunch with a touch of class and style! Thanks so much!“
“I've been ordering for about a year and have been loving it and having others try and love it as well BUT recently I've been let down my orders have not been what I've paid for and ordered and it's now been 3x in a row. PLEASE fix whatever is going on there so I can go back to loving it and feel confident in ordering again.“
“From the first time. You treated me like a family member. I work on heavy equipment and can get dirty. They told me to wash up before eating and gave me an outstanding meal. I was tired and exhausted that day. I felt like I was at home thank you“
“My boyfriend wanted to try Tacos Barbon. We were so impressed not only with the food, but with the Hostess/Server was incredible! The service was quick and Diane’s concern was whether the customers are happy. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive. The tacos were incredible, we had the platter and shared it. We were disappointed we didn’t order a platter for each. Diane was beautiful and bubbly..! She was very customer service oriented. Love everything about Tacos Barbon!Parking: It was very convenient. I need handicap so it was very accessible.!“
“It's a quite little shop. We hopped in here after grocery shopping. The staff were nice. It's a little family like style place. They even serve some sodas in the bottle. I appreciate having a salsa bar, as I can never get enough. We ordered queabirria, Carne asada, and chicken tacos. It would be better to come on Tuesday and get the special. It was a bit overpriced, but the qusabirra was the best.“
“I love that I am not limited to only 'breakfast' at 7am !! I work nightshift so at 7am it's dinner time for me LOL. Sometimes you just need a small burger and fries and maybe 2 tacos ? Thanks for understanding that Jack ! ?“
