“It's Taco Tuesday and I just want to say that I have found the BEST tacos! These are amazing tacos and the best I have had! I found this place on Yelp awhile back and just haven't had the chance to go yet, but did today. This is a food truck called Lost Burro and they are usually at this location, 83rd and Peoria Ave. It's not in Surprise, but a close and short drive. We had the quesabirria tacos, carne asada/steak tacos, al pastor taco, smoked beef taco, and shrimp tacos. The carne asada tacos were SO flavorful! They come with an avocado crema that's awesome. My husband said the al pastor was the best he has had! They had pickled pineapple on them. I also had the shrimp tacos and I loved them SO MUCH! They look spicy with their coloring and spices, but they were pretty mild. They also had walnuts on them, which I thought gave them a nice crunch. The quesabirria tacos were delicious! We also had refried beans (I forgot to take a pic) and I liked them; they have a little spice and kick. My husband got the strawberry horchata and he said it was so tasty and refreshing! I thought it was really cute how they presented it. The smoked beef taco is so interesting and something I haven't seen before but it was delicious as well. These are the best damn tacos! They alsp have other things on the menu, like burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and other stuff. The customer service was great and they checked on us multiple times and helped us with the menu since we were new. I keep thinking about them and am already planning my return. “Delicious! My first time here, and I ordered three different tacos: the original, vampiro, and the toasted. My favorite was the vampiro. There was a bit of a wait after ordering, but it was 6:45 at the height of dinner hour. It was worth it.“

“Boycott any of the Bertos' joints, come try this place.Pros: Home made food! I CAN'T EXPRESS THAT ENOUGH.I got the California Burrito, Carne Asada Fries and the 5 Rolled Beef Tacos. The meat is not fatty and cheap like at other Bertos' locations. Deliciously seasoned and spiced.The rolled tacos aren't small microwaveable lookalikes, instead they're sizeable and filling. Their Salsa bar is delightful as well (He wasn't kidding about that red sauce oooowee). Most importantly, above their delicious home made cooking, their prices are outstandingly low and affordable.Cons: More like minor inconveniences...They do not have a drive through, so yes you'll need to get out of your vehicle and actually go in (oh no).Small hole in the wall, but wasn't busy. “The atmosphere here was EVERYTHING. It was so earthy and calming, within the first five minutes I was raving about how I want to bring everyone back to this location specifically. Service was excellent, food was delicious and the ambiance is unmatched. We ordered the queso and mac and cheese to start and both knocked it out of the ball park. The queso had more a smoked, pepper taste which I LOVED because it can really be hit or miss. I ordered the burger which was good, pretty standard. The hot honey chicken sandwich was amazing. Highly recommend. The French dip was chef’s kiss, loved the fusion of flavor. We ended the night with the butterscotch pudding bread topped with vanilla and wwwooowwww I could’ve demolished the entire skillet alone. All in all the experience and food in my book were a 10/10… the ONLY complaint that I had and it could be a deal breaker for some… the water was horrific. It smelled and tasted almost like sewer? I hope they address that because next time I’m going to ask that they not bring the water to the table entirely.“
“After Juan’s Mexican Food on Thomas and 16th street closed down. This is where I come for the best hardshell shredded beef tacos.The prices are great, the food quality is 9/10 great flavor and made fresh to order. I've tried mostly everything on the menu, so far, I haven't found any item I dislike.My favorite item is the California Burrito. The best one I've had hands down, no competition.Parking: Small parking lot, spaces are limited. Tight area. Check your car for damage when leaving.“

“The Birria is really flavorful and a must! Had the birria nachos which would have been perfect but a bit too much cheese for my liking but their red salsa was the real MVP! The Jamaica Agua Fresca is a must! Churros were basic but good. Thank you, Evelyn for a great first time experience! We'll be back to try the birdie ramen.“
“Their food is delicious. Love their guac and red salsa. Tacos are really good meat is nicely seasoned and cooked. Chicken could use more seasoning and they need to add either tripas or birria tacos. You'd think for being a well known taco spot their employees would be more lively or at least have must going enough to get you going but no very blah but at least the food is good. Margaritas need more liquor.“
