“Simple options with large portions. Classic sandwiches and some amazing baking. We return to Kilby farm everytime we're near Harrison, as it's a lovely place to stop, eat and visit. There is also a gift shop with a diverse offering of local crafts. I bought a cute hand-knit cap for my son here and he loves it.“

“My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place. We go out of our way to make sure we come here every time we are in the area. Sometimes we even drive out from Maple Ridge. Feels like home. Everyone is always so friendly. The waitress is always great. The food is superb and their pies are phenomenal.“

“It is a lovely spot with a view that overlooks Harrison Beach. The lake and distant mountains fill the wall to wall feature windows. There is also an outdoor seating area that boasts panoramic views and would be lovely in warmer weather. The shop was clean and orderly, and the staff were kind and courteous.I had a flat white and the carrot cake. Their espresso is good, not too bitter nor burnt. I prefer a bolder espresso and will have to ask if they have different roasts. The carrot cake was delicious, light, and moist. The icing was also light and the perfect sweetness to complement the cake without overpowering it.Overall, I would recommend this coffee shop to anyone in the Harrison area. Try them out!I will certainly be returning, easily 5/5 from me.“

“Amazing service !!! Great sandwich, love that there is GF and vegan/vegetarian options. My friend was not a fan of her smoothie bowl (just her personal preferences) but the staff Peggy came by our table a few times to check if she wanted anything and how we were doing she brought my friend , a complementary fruit bowl and a little bit of goodies as well which was very kind of her. I had ordered a simple BLT, which was not on the menu, but they were able to accommodate for me which was amazing food, sauces, desserts, everything delicious, and again the staff very friendly.“

“My absolute favourite vegan breakfast in the Fraser valley. A bit pricey but restaurants need to pay attention to what they’re doing here! Had the vegan lunch option (jackfruit on baguette) and it was delicious as well. Keep up the good work!“

“My husband and I enjoyed breakfast here for the first time. Hubby had egg and Salisbury steak platter and I had the breakfast bowl. Very generous portions, all came piping hot served with a lovely smile. There were leftovers! We left with full tummies and 2 pieces of cake. We will definitely be coming back“

“A little cafe with great food! Super tasty, crispy hash browns! Was a nice place for brunch with my family. Compared to big busy restaurants with screaming children and loud people. This was a cute, relaxed place to eat. The staff were very friendly.Parking is in the back just fyi. We found a new favorite breakfast and brunch place!“
“Unique coffee shop at Camp Charis, open to public, even if you are not attending the camp. Quaint, rustic. Outdoor seating under beautiful trees with the sound of a creek. Tea or coffee. Reasonable prices, but not much selection of pastries, which were a little pricey. Cookie 2.5“

“This is a great cafe with a very friendly staff and good food, and coffee, selections. I highly recommend it. Both Lauren and the Australian server were gracious and helpful and really were a high spot in my trip. It is located in a converted house that is quite charming and in an easy to get to location. I didn't use it but they have a great-looking outdoor deck if you're of a mind to enjoy the day. Chatting with the Australian hostess was very interesting, comparing travel notes and chatting away like we had known each other for years. If you ever decide to return to the Vancouver Island area make sure to give me a heads up, either here or on FB, I'll be happy to give you 'insider' tips on the best routes, restaurants etc. Thanks for a very enjoyable time.“

“The Hideaway Cafe is truly a gem. As a family-owned restaurant, it has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The family who runs it is incredibly kind and adds to the cozy ambiance. I can confidently say that it serves the best egg benedict I've ever tasted, and their coffee is top-notch too. I've heard they make fresh patties in-house, which I'm eager to try on my next visit. If you're looking for a place with great food and a friendly vibe, the Hideaway Cafe is the best choice.“

“This was our first visit and it was a good one. There’s something for everyone. They don’t have a kids menu. However they have something that kids would like (burger, chicken strips, pancakes…). Their portions are large and good priced. The quality is great. Definitely our new breakfast and lunch spot. They also have pre made meals to take home and bake yourself. Highly recommend. *It’s a cafe cafeteria style. You order at the counter and sit. Pickup food at counter.*“

“The pastries at this place are seriously good! I grabbed a cranberry and orange muffin as well as an apple one, and they were both absolutely delicious. The coffee had that perfect balance of strength, and the atmosphere was so cozy that I could have stayed there all day.“

“Great service, great atmosphere, passionate family running the place, good prices, however at the expense of not so good ingredients that lack in flavour. I believe this restaurant could do well if it leaned harder into its korean food fusion, while partnering up with local farms for fresh eggs and ingredients rather than the bulk store bought option. If you are a local farmer please reach out to Tamihi Cafe as I am sure they would appreciate all help they can get. Beginnings are tough, and often restaurants opt for cheaper ingredients and cheap prices to save money, but its a long battle towards the end unless you invest in quality ingredients to work with. Need more hot sauce options and bolder korean fusion breakfast items.“

“Came in for quick bite to eat. The mocha was amazing. The tartine breakfast delicious. The potatoes were very tasty full of flavour and crispy to boot. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked which is rare and the in house hollandaise was superb ❤️“
