Mui Garden Restaurant Reviews
Terrific food and service, a local gem amidst a sea of average eateries.
Decent comfy food. Wide menu selection catering to different preference, ranging from northern/southern Chinese food to Malay influence dishes. Service is helpful and friendly. Atmosphere has a local/family cafe vibe, with car-seats along the wall and free standing tables else where. There is usually a wait to get a table at peak hours so recommend to get there early. There is plenty of meter parking available on Kingsway in front of restaurant from 9 am to 3 pm.
You gotta get the curry beef brisket. It is a signature item for a reason and if you're craving hong kong style curry then this is a solid choice.
It is loud but in a lively way. If you speak Cantonese or Mandarin its even more enjoyable.

Mui Garden Restaurant is a cozy Hong Kong-style cafe that offers a range of flavorful Cantonese-style dishes. The menu features popular items like curry beef brisket, fish and tofu with BBQ pork, and beef rice noodles. The food is satisfying, with a focus on traditional ingredients and cooking methods. While the portions may be smaller than expected, the quality of the dishes makes up for it. Customers have praised the tender and tasty curry beef brisket, as well as the coconut-y curry with a good amount of meat and fillings. The Hainan chicken and Malaysian roti have received mixed reviews, but the lemon tea is a hit. The restaurant has several locations, including one on Victoria Drive, providing a reliable dining option for those craving authentic Cantonese cuisine.
