“I've eaten at the Hide-A-Way Cafe a few times. A good breakfast cafe spot to meet a friend and enjoy some tea or coffee. The breakfast options are fairly standard but good and have been consistent across visits. The food is hearty and satisfying. The waitress didn't rush us and was very good about topping up coffee while we chatted. There's a kids menu that looks suitable for younger kids.“

“This was our first visit and it was a good one. There’s something for everyone. They don’t have a kids menu. However they have something that kids would like (burger, chicken strips, pancakes…). Their portions are large and good priced. The quality is great. Definitely our new breakfast and lunch spot. They also have pre made meals to take home and bake yourself. Highly recommend. *It’s a cafe cafeteria style. You order at the counter and sit. Pickup food at counter.*“

“10/10 I was absolutely blown away going to Tamihi Cafe! There prices are absolutely phenomenal! They are far cheaper than any fast food place, but the price point is excellent! I am truly wowwed! I will definitely be back here in the future! The server was friendly enough! The quality of the food is absolutely delicious! Very reasonable sized servings of food too which is very good! I am truly encouraged by the way this restaurant runs, I wish more restaurants had this price point and food quality ratio!“

“I had the eggs Benny trio and chose chorizo, pork belly and brisket. Food was prepared fast, plating looked great and you can tell they make their hollandaise in house. Service was effucient and very friendly. I cannot wait to come back and try more treasures“
