She greeted us with a most beautiful smile and warm welcome. Service was consistently good throughout the meal and Raeya was readily available. I ordered the Laksa Noodle Soup (XL) and Curry Beef with Rice — both dishes were 🔥 packed with flavor, comforting, and served in generous portions. The laksa had the perfect balance of spice 🌶️ and creaminess 🥥, while the curry beef was rich, tender, and paired perfectly with the rice 🍛.

💰 Pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes — definitely great value for money!

😊 The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with friendly and quick service. Perfect spot for a satisfying lunch or dinner.

🔧 The only small suggestion I’d make is that the plates and bowls are starting to show their age and could use a refresh. It’s a minor detail, but updating the serving ware would really elevate the overall vibe.

“We had a wonderful late lunch at Helmut's in Vernon. The sandwiches and soup were delicious and home-made. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. After lunch we spent about $75 in the deli and had some of the best meats, sausage rolls and pepperoni sticks we've ever had! My only complaint is that they're so far away from where we live! Five BIG stars to Helmut's!“

The cake design perfectly matched our Alice in Wonderland/Mad Hatter theme, and we received a ton of compliments on how delicious our cake and tarts were from our guests. Our wedding cake was carrot flavored and it was the best carrot cake I have ever had. She also worked well with our decorator and planner. Thank you for making our day special.“

“Getting good, attentive service is tough to find these days. I went in at 4:30 on a Friday, while the J’s were beating the Tigers. Busy.
I always sit at the wood (the bar) and being in the industry myself, it was a real treat to watch her not miss a beat. From napkins to the bill, Becky was on point.

Libbie at Cupcasions was very helpful with choosing a cake and cupcakes to serve at our wedding. Libbie set up an amazing cake and cupcake display at our wedding venue and the cupcakes were both pretty and delicious.“

“During my older son’s hockey game my younger son and I went into Boomers to grab a hot chocolate. The young fellow at the bar helped take our order and he was so pleasant to deal with we ended up ordering some food as well. The GF pizza was hot and tasty. No dry crust. My son’s burger and fries were good as well. Overall service was excellent and the food came out quickly. Definitely will be back. Looks like the new management is doing a great job.“

Candle light, classic songs and jovial laughter filled the air, Chianti sipped and fresh handmade pasta plated… Viva Italia! It began as a dream, first gelato shop then that cozy culinary treat serving nonna’s recipes since 1984 when Rosa and Giacomo Anfuso brought their love of Sicily to the beautiful okanagan. Son James joined the vision for many years keeping the tradition alive until passing the torch to Mansor Abrahim (Padova University, Antico Napoletana, Pane Vino) this January. Best local and imported ingredients, fresh chicken and veal with Rosa’s signature recipes and homemade daily sauces, sausages, and pasta- it’s in great hands! Thank you Chef for visiting the table! “We stumbled across the charming cafe as a tourist and, not long after, ended up moving to Kelowna within walking distance of The Marmalade Cat Cafe. Was the coffee shop a factor in our real estate decision? It certainly didn't hurt! We now walk here at least once a week for a coffee, a NYT crossword, and the mutual satisfaction of having made a positive change in our life. Get the 10 coffee punch card! “Great burgers!!! I have always had a great experience picking up food to go from here. Today after a long 12 hour day I needed a greasy burger so I got an overloaded “The Grilly Steak” with double meat, extra mozzarella cheese & mushrooms. It was delicious and hit the spot, exactly what I was looking for! I was happy with the service I received by Raman - she did an amazing job receiving my order and making it right.
