“I can't believe I didnt leave a review sooner! I've been ordering food from here for years. I remember getting Kings food as a kid at the farmers market and I continued to order from them after I moved out. The Sweet and Sour Veggie is my husband's and my favorite. We also like the hot crispy bean and the curry crispy bean. My husband is not a vegetarian like myself, but he absolutely loves the food from Kings as much as I do. Always excellent customer service and consistent quality food. Janice is an absolute sweetheart.“

“Love this cactus club, go to this one often whenever I'm out. The food and drinks are always good, and the view is really nice. The service is well done as well. only thing that could be improved is the atmosphere, it is an overall comfortable space. However, it's often cold, dark, and very loud (almost feel's like a night club).

Dietary restrictions: This cactus club has okay gluten free options, definitely better and safer places if that's something you struggle with! My celiac friend always ends up with a steak, and they always take extra care for her meal! Pretty sure they don't have gluten free fryers but could be wrong

Wheelchair accessibility: This place is a pretty good option if considering wheelchair accessibility. The bar area is not accessible. however, the rest of the space could easily be good.“

“As soon as I walked in I had the most wonderful big welcome from a wonderful Lady (she may have been the owner.) My apologized I’m not the best with names but she made sure to remember mine & it was my first time! She was so helpful with the menu, extremely patient, knowledgeable & they have wonderful options all homemade from soup, to cold/ hot sandwiches, fries (poutine,) salads and much more! While we waiting for our food we were given water from another wonderful lady and the other lovely lady at the front sent me for a nice homemade soup to take home. Everything smells and tastes so amazing and fresh. This is a Gem! I appreciate being so cared about especially with having some obvious medical conditions. It’s so nice to see such compassion these days. A Peachland customer that is happy to take the trip to come enjoy an amazing homemade meal from the most kind business I’ve ever entered. “We had lunch at the Cactus Club today April 12, 2022. The location is great because parking is not a problem. Food was amazing and our server, Raeya, was outstanding. She greeted us with a most beautiful smile and warm welcome. Service was consistently good throughout the meal and Raeya was readily available. “I’ve gone here numerous times in the last 2 years, and the only reason I go in anymore is to be served by a girl named Jenna I think. Portions of food have decreased, half the time ingredients aren’t even in stock, let alone she’s the only staff member who I can understand due to everyone else having such thick accents. Seems like ever since the new owner took over, quality and values have depleted immensely. Surprised this girl still puts up with this place.

My rating is solely based off my experience with the girl above. I think I’ll have to find a new place to go soon. Do better chopped.“

“Best sushi in The Okanagan, by far. Very large menu and the food is great with an open kitchen atmosphere.

Menu highlights for me are: Chicken Katsu, fried cheese gyoza, crunchy goat cheese, crab salad, beef tataki, orange bay scallops and the best sunomono and Tempura as well. Also the spider roll here is the best. So many specials as well. So good.“

Our server, Aedan, was outstanding—knowledgeable, attentive, and respectful, making our evening even more enjoyable. One of the things we love about HomeBlock is their commitment to fresh ingredients, with a menu that changes daily to reflect the best of what’s in season.

Tonight, we opted for the three-course set menu, and every dish was exceptional. The fried squid was cooked perfectly, with a generous portion and a fantastic pairing of chili jam that added just the right amount of heat and sweetness. For mains, we shared the pork and pasta dishes, both executed flawlessly with rich, well-balanced flavors. And of course, we couldn’t leave without having the sticky toffee pudding—an absolute must here!

“Visited here with my partner last week and it was simply amazing! Whenever we passed by it was always busy so we had to wait for a table but it was certainly worth it.

All the food we got was certainly worth the price, it almost felt too good to be true. The appetizer we got was super fresh, tasty & the perfect size! The 2 main rolls we got were super flavorful and proportioned well for a very cheap price. The dessert

In total we spent about $40, which may sound like a lot, but this was definitely cheaper than a lot of other places for the amount of food we got and much better than anywhere else we have tried!

“Their breakfasts are awesome, the wait staff is unfailingly friendly. We’ve been going there for the last year after moving from LA. Their food quality is as good as anything in LA, the service is efficient and unobtrusive. We recently took my 94-year old mum there for a patio brunch and she loved the one egg, one bacon slice etc. option. My personal favorite is the Eggs Benny with pulled pork (half portion or I will be in a food coma) and wife loves their salads. This is truly My Neighborhood Cafe. This is a really decent restaurant that actually cook a similar taste from my hometown( I am chinese myself so I am pretty sure I have some authority rating chinese food here ?) . For those who give bad rating about this restaurant, stop ordering chicken ball, chow meow or lemon chicken. These food are basically kfc or McDonald’s in my home country . I order pork belly green onion hotpot , the pork belly melt in my mouth first bite. Order food like hotpot or ask the waiter or waitress about what is original and what is not .“
