“A friend and I just dined here for the 1st time and we both were blown away. The renovation of the interior is beautiful and the service was impeccable. We were treated to the owners daughter that kept checking in on us and had a great conversation and heard some background of the development of this new idea from the owners as we have always been fans of Sizzling Tandoori.
We ordered 4 dishes to share and they were all incredible. My personal favorites was the gnocchi dish and the torkhi chaat dish???? we will definitely be back and highly recommend trying this place out!

“We first experienced Cafe Malabar on a food tour... their Sulaimani Tea had me from hello. (I'm trying to replicate it, but I'm not quite there yet...) We went back the next day. Everything was amazing - the food, the people, everything. I can't wait to experience more of their menu in their new place. ❤️“

“My husband and I are visiting from out of the country, and this was one of the best Indian restaurants we’ve eaten at. The food was not only delicious, but you get big portions for a fair price. Highly recommend to anyone looking for Indian food.“

“We hired Fresh Tandoori Indian Restaurant Royal Oak to do our event catering. They went above and beyond our expectations and the food was delicious the presentation of food was done very beautifully. I would highly recommend them for your next event big or small.“

“My brother in law wanted Indian food for his birthday dinner so we chose Sizzling Tandoor. I was never really a fan of Indian as I am pretty picky but went along as it was his day. We called and the gentleman on the phone was so polite and extremely helpful! everything we ordered was delicious! The pakora was delish, butter chicken of course was on point, and the daal was amazing! The tandoor chicken was the show stopper though. We ordered everything mild as we(including me) have a few picky palettes. will definitely order again!“

“Biryani dishes are incredibly beautiful. Rice and chicken perfectly cooked. So tasty and such a comfort when you are hungry. Biryani second to none, no wonder the restaurants name. Quality and generous portions. I now eat here at least 3x's a month.“

“For our last evening on Van Isle after three months visit from Oregon, we tried this restaurant based on Trip Advisor and Google reviews. Authentic Cuisine of India exceeded our expectations.
The decor and ambience are wonderful and all staff were welcoming and prompt with service. We enjoyed the mango prawn curry, traditional naan, and Tibetan Chicken momo appetizer. Beautifully presented and expertly prepared, they were a tantalizing treat for our palates.
Rose in particular was friendly, helpful, and professional, a true delight.
We will be returning to the Langford area in the near future so for sure we will come back for more delicacies. We are just sorry we can’t come more frequently.
