“I grew up in East Van when pizza garden was 99 cents a slice (they started the whole new style of Vancouver pizza with the game changing larger ham slices, and larger pepperoni, and Capicola) . The original lady from there owns 4 brothers pizza now and works at the second location, beside Fire Pizza. Both best in Vancouver area imo both in their own ways. (Gotta get them fresh though)
Their pizza here at Paisanos is the best I've ever had. Hands down, in every way and every ingredient. Wouldn't pick a pie anywhere else, no matter how fancy they claim it is.
Super grateful to have a labour of love like theirs and a pizza by the slice shop in Nanaimo.

“Does the pizza rival that of one that comes from a wood fired oven in Italy? No… Is it a very legitimate “bar pie” at a very fair price? YES! The pickup special (19.95 for Xlarge) is a deal you just dont see these days. Feeding my family of 3 for $20 sounds like a fairy tale… well worth a tip each visit. Thank you Departure Bay Pizza for serving a reasonable product at a reasonable price.“

“I love this location! They have some of the nicest staff, especially Anjel an all rounder. She was really nice, helped me get my pizza with the best deal and had my order ready as fast as she could even when the store was busy. The pizza was delicious with all the toppings perfectly balanced. Very impressed. I’ll definitely be ordering from Domino’s again!“

“A hidden gem at the end of the piazza! I was pleasantly surprised – not only by the delicious pizza, but especially by the communication of the pizzaiolo. The young man who took my order genuinely tried to make the experience enjoyable, not just sell me a pizza. The place was clean, tidy, and welcoming.
And the pizza? Absolutely excellent! Totally worth the 20-minute drive just to taste it. 🥰

“Dominos has had some really good promos, and this Dominos is great having the order ready on time and the pizzas look and taste great. Staff is friendly and helpful.
The new stuffed pizza is delicious and the cheese in the crust is plentiful, way better than the one from Pizza Hut.“

“I tried the gyro for the first time and it was DELICIOUS! I know the photo doesn't look particularly appetizing but it was scrumptious and filling. Milano's always has the best holiday decorations, so if you're feeling festive it's a fun spot!
Their breakfast menu is worth a try too. The ham toastie is my favourite!“

“I love the Jingle Pot Pub. The food and drinks are pretty average but the service goes way beyond average. Sherry is a fantastic server and an integral part of this establishment. She always greets us with a warm welcome and provides outstanding service. My husband comes with his hockey buddies and I go with my girlfriend. We all love Sherry. She has a great sense of humor and an incredible memory. I highly recommend visiting for a great atmosphere!“
